Love the Sea King 556A. I have 23/55. Wore it on deployment to the Middle East a few years ago and it kept me company in the desert. --Royal Canadian Navy, Lt(N) retired.

The Sinn 556A to me is the perfect watch. I'm so blessed that my taste in watches is towards robust simplicity and thus my grail watch was $1,200. Its like your dream car being a Ford instead of a Bugatti. Nice to have attainable goals.

Nothing wrong with enjoying deeply something that I’d also adorable. As much as it might be nice to own a higher brand watch, I don’t know that those offer any better daily wear experience. The 556 is a no nonsense watch. And a great daily companion.

Awesome video on a rare piece and servicing for your customer! I caught a quick glimpse of this watch on another you tube watch channel a couple years ago and have been chasing it down ever since. Hard to come by with only 55 made. Cheers!

Indeed .. this watch in owned by Capt. Miller (Retired) who sent it in for servicing as Roldorf & Co is an authorized service centre and retailer for Sinn watches. This was a fun one to shoot, and I even got to try on the watch afterwards. Oddly enough it's not a watch I particularly thought much of whilst shooting .. but only after putting it on did I think "Ooooooooh .. that's kinda nice!". Myself and the Rolforf crew were rewarded with Mission patches commemorating SeaKing CH-124 (which the watch is also dedicated to).

I don't mind it personally .. but it's one of those things you either like or your don't. The regular Sinn 556a's have the date at 3.

I regret to say but the watch isn’t mine. It belongs to ‘Capt. Miller’, a retired SeaKing Pilot. He sent this watch in to Roldorf & Co for servicing as Roldorf is an authorized service and sales agent for Sinn watches. We just filmed this for people to enjoy. I very much doubt Capt. Miller would want to part with this watch as it has very special meaning for him. But who knows .. you might get lucky on Chrono24 or similar watch site some day. I wish you best of luck finding it. Bear in mind the Sinn 556a is available and it’s the exact same watch .. just not with the custom dial and hands.
