The alto sax is an Eb transposing instrument. The original song is in the key of D minor, so the first note, C# sounds as an E, 9 semitones below. In case anyone doesn't know how the alto works.

Hey, Im auditioning for the school band next week. I'm a pretty decent alto player but switching to the tenor has caused me the same problem. I still can't solve why my high G plays an almost screech sound and at a high pitch when I play it. Any idea why?

Have they addressed the issue of timing out after 10min? Perhaps a firmware update? That is the only issue stopping me from purchasing. I sing and play the horn so there are plenty of scenarios where I might not pick up the song for 10min while singing. Having to check if the mic is on all the time is not good for live performances.
