Mr Davis thank you for your instructions I’m having a issue everything is recognized in the audio settings I set 14 mono input channels nothing out of my monitors this is the only source or component that doesn’t work please if you could I would appreciate feedback please thanks 👍

Hey, im running my Roland tr8s through a zoom r24 into logic. I’m trying to sync the tempos from the tr8s to the project however because im running through an interface i don’t have this midi sync option at least I don’t know if I do can someone please help

im not even using Logic but this was one of the clearest videos i’ve found about recording TR-8S via usb, thanks for sharing! i’ve also encountered random bugginess trying to sync the TR-8S to the DAW clock via usb, so it really helps to know it’s not just a Me problem 😂

Thanks for the video. I am able to get all the inputs recorded as audio, but I can't get the midi pattern recorded the way he does in the video. Anyone have any ideas?

awesome video thanks! questions: will this method track motion, or do you need to record stereo audio out for that? why make the sound output through the TS? do you then have the audio outs going to your studio monitors? if you want to route through your interface could you just make the tr8s audio in and leave audio out on your interface?

You confirmed some issues I've been having with bugs with the TR. I've had to sync over midi thur my audio interface the USB midi on the TR sucks. I'm have a recording lag when trying to record midi notes in to Logic from the TR. That was a cool feature you demonstrated and very useful. Thank you.

Marcus I am new to this. Why don’t you just take the audio out and put into logic into one track.what’s the purpose of having all those tracks. When you have all those channels on the Tr 8s

You really should connect Logic and the TR-8s via midi so they sync up automatically 🙂

quick question .why do you assign the TR-8 as logic audio output device. I have my speakers connected to my apollo audio interface , so I can't hear anything if I send audio back to the TR-8.?

Hey Marcus, thank you for your great showaround the MPC Studio. I bought it to get into this mpc game. I got the problem that my screen on the Studio black is not showing anything. There is only: MPC Even if the software is launched. Can you may help me with this problem, cause i wanted to play with the MPC and not with a software ;) - guess you know what i mean. Hey I’m not sure why the MPC is not launching correctly. Sounds like there is an issue with the hardware not seeing the software on your computer. My suggestion would be to reinstall the software and check online for the most recent firmware updates for your hardware. Also if there is a driver needed make sure you have the latest driver installed as well. If that doesn’t work I would contact Akai. I’m not sure what computer you’re using but if you’ve got a Mac M1 there might be some compatibility issues, a lot of software from different companies isn’t working properly on the Mac M1’s. The solution is to open the software in Rosetta mode. To learn how to do that just search it on KZbin it’s easy to do. Hopefully that helps 👍🏾
