I would be hot if they advertised it as brushless only to discover the the motors are brush type when you receive it. Yeah, it flies well for having brushed motors, but the motors won't last long, so spending over 100.00 isn't worth it IMO.

This is a slightly larger version of the XK A160 Cub - with a whole raft of similar problems to that disaster! That 1 had a built-in Auto-Crash feature in the programming in the first version and, even after the new version with different flight board running a different protocol plus S-bus and DSM satellite sockets on the board was issued, it still kept most of the bad features. Namely 1 ... All those plastic doodads add far too much weight. With the dense EPP frame the wing loading is crippling for slow stable flight. 2 ... The landing gear looks nice but is very prone to ripping out of the frame (glue the push-in section securely) and busting up all the spring fittings. 3 ... The COG is too tail-heavy - and you sure as heck DON'T want to add any more weight to correct it! Only plus with this is that the motor to prop adapter is WAY better than the A160. That 1 (and several other XK planes) used a plastic motor adapter that deforms VERY easily with even a modest nose dink and then shakes the living daylights out of the gyros causing near instant crashes! If you want a shelf queen then either of these planes is beautiful. If you want to regularly fly it then you'd better be a really good pilot! As always, check the RCGroups forums for other folk's experiences with either.

I use this transmitter to fly other 3/4 channel planes such as J-35, SR72 and J-20. Switching gyro using the toggle switch is much easier than the stupid sliding switch. The radio range is better (300 meters), so there's no radio frequency cut out.

We've never had much luck with ornithopters - mainly because of too much wind. They usually need dead calm. The El-cheapo versions also suffer from the lousy controllers supplied (or even worse - control by phone apps!) and usually flimsy construction. There are several videos out now on this 1. That's not to say that they can never work. There's a Japanese gent on the Toob who designs his own from scratch. Many of them are marvels!

RC protocol used? Might be the same as that on the KFPLAN Mini 3-ch Warbirds. (MT99XX/F949G) Or could be FX.

Sorry mate, at 2 mins neither the servo horn hole used nor the elevator control horn hole used will give you the maximum elevator throw! Use outer hole on the servo and inner hole on the elevator control horn. Slip of the tongue? 😉😊

Be careful. The VEVOR linked in the description one is the 2CH version. Funny, just after I got back my brushless F22 out of the tree thanks to a kind neighbor near the field, you lose your plane on the roof. I was wondering when that would happen. Risky flying planes there. I have the 2CH version of the eagle and this gave me an idea. Maybe I'll make it a 4CH using the Parkten F22S parts. Could be interesting.
