I’ve had two of the original UMX ULTRIX wings. And Two of the 600 mm ULTRIX wings. The 600 mm is superior in every way. For a solid battery mount. I used 3M two sided tape to fill in the bottom channel in the fuselage. Then slid the battery in vertical for a snug fit. Leave the red plastic on the top of the two sided tape so the battery don’t stick to it. You’ll find out that the ULTRIX flys much better with the battery moved further back. Consider getting the Blue UMX Timber Evolution instead of the original UMX ULTRIX. It also is an incredible flyer.

@@FrequentFlyerRC Cool. I have the Big and Small Timber Xs. Both acceptable for different applications. If you're willing to break the mold and try out an Extremely UNDER Rated Airframe, Try out the E Flite 600mm ULTRIX. Not the small one. Extremely Versatile. Loves Very strong wind, or soft conditions. Hand toss and Harrier landings right at your feet. It's a Go To for All conditions. You won't regret it. Great videos . Keep em coming.

No it's called an ic2 connection and the connectors are further apart with a third connection point in between for balance charging (no separate balance lead). 👌🏿

@@FrequentFlyerRC Yes of course Jamal my only beef with HH UMX planes are those liner servos have a bad habit of burning out in flight especially on the elevator coursing bad lock outs but anywho bro maybe you'll have way better luck with it especially since the UMX version of this plane is made out of EPP foam so it should handle crashes a lot better?

Be aware that any "drones", including fixed wing, over 250g have a lot of regulations now. According to the website, the Ultrix 600 is 254g. Maybe without the landing gear you can keep it under 250. Fingers crossed.
