If there are light fixtures or other things you can tie your balloons to, use that. If that's not the case, I would inflate the balloons with helium instead

We used a 260 to tie them to the pole of the backdrop. Hope this helps! 🥰

If I am making a smaller bow with 5 inch balloons would I still do 35 duplexes? Also how do I start the fishing line when I add the first balloons? I love this. Thank you for the tutorial.

You're very welcome! 🫶🏼 I'd probably do less than 35 duplexes if using 5" balloons, but it all depends on how long/big you want your bow. As far as how to start the fishing line, just tie the end of the fishing line to one duplex, 3-4 knots just to make sure, and then work your way up with each indiviual duplex. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself correctly, but you can also slow down the speed of the video to see how I do it 😉

Hey love, no only the package of balloons as shown in the video is what you recieve. But there is a pink inflator in Amazon as well that's pretty affordabel

No one really cares a balloon is a balloon to be fair. Just because the balloons are a little bit thicker and a little bit bigger doesn’t mean that you as a balloon decorator should be charging thousands of dollars for something it takes an hour you’re ridiculous. Being a balloon artist and you don’t even know how to use a balloon strip it’s kind of ridiculous as well you can’t figure it out before you put yourself on camera showing I don’t know how to do it.

The balloons are way to thin for fishing line which is probably why they poped when you were working with them and not while inflating.

Thank YOU! ❤ We purchased these at Surprize Enterprize which is our local supplier. The brand of the 36" latex balloons was Qualatex (which unfortunately has gone out business), the 24" Rose Gold is Sempertex and the Orbz (foil) are Anagram

Great info! Prob a silly question, but, once you’ve paid off the cost of backdrops or tools or other things you’re using in your business, do you keep including the cost of those in your final pricing for every job moving forward or do you only charge for those expenses until that particular item is paid for?

No question is silly around here! 😉 The price remains the same, but that doesn't mean that you'd be charging "more" eventhough you've paid off your investment. In other words, the investion has paid itself off after 3-4 installs and anything after that is the profit that you're looking for from said investment.

this was so helpful! I'm doing my first ceiling install and the ceiling is wood. I saw you mentioned briefly you also did one and it took a while. Any tips for that? what did you guys use to hang the balloons. I'm super nervous yet excited as well.

Glad we could help! We used 3M clear command hooks and 10' and 8' ladders, which is why it took a while. I'm sure you'll do just fine 😉
