This Peshkar has been composed by Ahmedjan Thirakwa as a response to the Peshkar of the Delhi Gharana. Does anyone know the Peshkar of the Delhi Gharana to which this Peshkar is an answer?

I think this is a great resource and so important to understand what the masters were exploring in their playing. Thank you for your efforts in this and for sharing these gems. I hope you don't mind me suggesting that I think it would be really useful if the recitation of the bols is demonstrated in relation to the tali and khali clapping patterns. Best Wishes.

Secondly, Ahmedjan Thirakwa used to improvise variations on the go. As these variations have not been documented by Narayan Joshi I have tried to bring out here. It is for this reason that I had to read them.
