The Canon R50 uses RF and RF-S lenses since it's an RF mount camera. EF and EF-S lenses can still be used with the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R, but they aren't native to the R50

What kind of "movies" are you making that you aren't using an external audio source of a mic on a boom pole? I never have a mic near my lens or camera body so its never an issue.

Im not sure if Comica put one out but there are many handheld Mic windscreens that would probably fit just fine. Something like these amzn.to/4g8AGmb

Is the feed still going through the camlink while the screen is turned off or is it cutting the stream as well, just trying to get clarification on the issue. I keep my flip screen off completely if I have it running through my camlink as the LC screen tends to make the overheating issue happen sooner while its running and using that additional power.

@RexxReviews the feed is still going on with no problem. It's streaming on riverside and I can go much longer before any heating issues.

It won't compare, the deck plus is a complete different type of deck so it's hard to compare them. This is in line with the plain standard Elgato Stream Deck

Hello , unfortunately I haven't a clue as I am not a streamer and do not use OBS like that. I'm using my stream deck for productivity tools like da Vinci resolve in Photoshop in the most I use OBS is for basic screen capture.

Send it back if you havent already. Possible bad battery. You also have to make sure you have the battery door closed, the is a rubber grommet that the cable routes out of.

I do not at all actually. I find it far easier to grade with it off and if I want LOG ill use my R5 and get real LOG

@RexxReviews thanks!! I'm an absolute noob in terms of videography (photography was always my main hobby) and i though that everybody made videos in HDR bc of it's advantages, I'm surprised to see (from the videos of professionals like you here) that is the opposite

@@twitch_theoxidado9043 Its a personal preference, HDR PQ isn't real LOG and its not the easiest to grade, especially of you don't have decent hardware for editing.

It depends on what you're using it for. If you're doing photographs or Real Estate Photos the canon lens is a very good choice. If you're doing a video the 1.8 aperture of the sigma makes a big difference. I purchased this lens for doing video only.

I don't use any additional settings for photo. I generally don't take photos with this camera because I have a Canon R5 for that a few times I've taken photos I've just put it in manual mode

I do not, only because I switched to a different plating system from PGYTECH that is arca-Swiss compatible. One of the guys I work with has all arca-swiss mounts and I had to find something that was more universal with that.

I do slightly. In resolve I take it from the default 50 to 46 I believe.

I still try and sell my stuff local so that I dont get undercut as bad. MPB and KEH are 2 online places that are legit but they will chop the buying price down quite a bit.

I have never tried using a cable that long to be honest. My thoughts is that if it works for Lightroom and Capture One that it could quite possible also work for the streaming aspect.

I use a Sokani X60 V2 with a Tulip soft box as key light. I have some generic ring light mounted above me that is my hair/fill.

I unfortunately have not tried using that software. When I use my R5 I run it through a capture card. The R 50 doesn't require the utility at all as any WebCam software will pick it up as a WebCam. That was something my R5 didn't have built-in.
