I got one for free from a studio/gear shop being built in my town, walked in, said I was a producer, they showed me around the construction, and gave asked me if I wanted it bc they couldn't get it to work and it was taking up space. It turns on, and the fan runs. Lights all work. Haven't tested it otherwise (with inputs and hooked up to my computer), but I'm hoping I can fix it bc it's in really good condition otherwise. Every knob, switch, etc. All still on it on and movable. It'd be really cool to be able to utilize it's vintage sound

This method inspired me to make a usbc adapter with the standard jump wires soldered to it. It works well and I made it small enough that I could attach a phone charm to it and leave it hanging in my DSi, so now I can charge it with any usbc cable I come across :)

Hi There is some videos in youtube showing dell or hp psu hot plugs convert to bench power suply. They could run the psu hot plugs by connecting some pins but they just could run them to take a small curent not the maximum curent. Could you please tell me how to run my "hp 2450w hstns-pr16 platinum hot plug" and "hp 2650w hstns-pr42 platinum hot plug" into a bench power suply to take the maximum curent and power? Probably like me, also got one for free with the missing fuse cap. It’s missing because it popped a fuse, owner put cap back in with no fuse and now there is no necessary tension on said cap to keep it locked in place so it falls out very easily. So far after replacing the whole fuse assembly….it just keeps blowing the fuse So, if it’s missing the fuse cap…….don’t bother with it unless you just want to add your own terminal straight to the Sub/ ByPassing internal amp and wiring and use a stand alone Sub Amp. Lessons learned. Lol

(Posted on my phone) Watching this on a M52 with a Pentium D 950, 3GB of ram, intergraded GMA950 graphics, running windows XP SP3 on the Superium browser. Plays 480P YT video decently enough if you don’t make the player UI show up, then the CPU gets pegged and the video stutters, otherwise it’s surprisingly snappy. (Though the PSU fan turns into a jet engine due to a complete lack of any airflow in the case other than the CPU heatsink fans, so the PSU runs really hot, just bought a 80x25mm noctua fan to make it hopefully alot quieter, likely at the expense of the PSU getting even hotter (I don’t care about this machine that much lol)

They are becoming obsolete because it is nearly impossible to find ribbon catridges. They are not made anymore, are they? Except for the thermal typewriters, which can write on thermal paper and don't need ribbon, like the Canon Typestar, the Casiowriter and others.

So I've recently repaired a GX680III and am using a 120 film back with the system (type I). It's getting to be a weird thing though as I shot a roll of film through it twice but now when I load the film cartridge and it starts to wind on to the beginning of the film, it keeps on winding until the spool is empty and wastes the whole roll. Is there some sort of sensor that needs to be cleaned or should I be looking for a whole new 120 back? Interestingly I have a 220 back which came with the camera initially and this shoots and winds on with 120 film just fine. Any insight into why the film back would wind on would be helpful. Thanks!
