Thanks everyone for their comments. I tried all of the non invasive suggestions and they eventually worked: shook it upside down, pumped the water tank up and down, flicked the hot water on and off 20 times, flicked it between steam and hot water multiple times, reset it multiple times. was going to give up then turned it off at the wall then tried one more reset and it worked. Bought mine for $60 as is because of the fault, but now feel I have a bargain.

STOP!!!!!! I just had this problem! Just turn the steam on let it run then switch to hot water and do this about 10 times! Just keep cranking back and forth steam then water. Should push the air gap out! Fixed mine in 30 seconds. 😂😂

Same here...unfortunately issue came back after months and again and again...now neither trick is working hence I will need to replace flow meter anyway..

We managed to fix it by tipping the machine forwards and slapping it on the back a couple times to dislodge the airbubble

Great video! I used it to assist me pulling my Breville Barista Pro apart. I then checked the impeller was free spinning which it was. Noticing the tiny hole feeding into the flow meter housing I actually drilled it out slightly larger to 1.5mm. This process has fixed my machine for now, only time will tell if the larger inlet hole stops this from reoccurring.

You can remove the flow meter holder by unscrewing a single screw partly seen at the bottom left corner of the video at 2:34. Doing so will very much ease the flow meter removal and installation.

Wanting to know if the 18v multi tool is powerful enough? Some people say it needs 36v
@gregandtarynsplaceАй бұрын
I haven't tried the 18v so I can't comment on it sorry. But I have owned and reviewed the 36v and 40v power heads and found the 40v had more torque which was better with the pole saw and hedge trimming attachments. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZycaJ-NgLJlh9k

hello friend, please can you give me details about the repairs. with my coffee machine, you set it for a single coffee for 13 seconds, for 2 coffees I set it for 30 seconds and the water stops at 20 seconds, what could be the problem? and when grinding the grains, I set it to 13 and it doesn't grind fine, I also tried 5 but it still grinds like that
@gregandtarynsplaceАй бұрын
That does sound like a grind issue more than a hardware issue. Have you tried removing the burr grinder and setting it to the lowest grind? I have my burr grinder on #1 and typically grind at 6 to 12 (depending on bean age) with 20g of beans in the grouphead.

My wife's machine was only running for 2-3 seconds and thought we might have had a different problem. But this worked! Definitely takes a little finessing, but i managed to get it done in about 45 minutes, having to use my wife's hands for some of the smaller parts. When I opened the flow meter, i thought it was full and was not the issue. I just topped it off and tried it anyways. Before closing the entire thing i set it all flat and plugged the unit back in. Tested it and it worked! Thank you!

To avoid breaking clips I used a butter knife to pry the clip inward gently and then pushed up the bottom of the clip with a small flat head. Opened very easy

Great video. I also had to open my breville because some sesame seed found their way inside the water inlet. The counter was dirty when I put the tank on the counter to fill it and in it went. I was able also to not break the 2 tabs. I used a plastic pry tool and went at it patiently, gently and popped it out. Thanks again.

I actually want the warmer function but wish it would warm to 34 degrees to keep drinks liquid during frozen winter months. I hate dealing with ice and it takes up so much room in the cooler..but so does a giant compressor making 1/3 of this cooler not usable.

Thanks for such an in depth video. Having followed the steps including breaking those lower clips I found no to little air in the system and a working flow meter. I am wondering weather my turning the machine to acess the screws moved the little air that was on the system. I will definitely try old mates turn it upside down and back up again without the water and coffee attached before doing this again.

Had the issue of water/coffee only running for 5 second intervals. Just did this and it worked because two of the tubes were built up with gunk.

Great. Thanka for the tutorial. I managed to remove the clips that you had mentioned without breaking them by applying pressure with a big screwdriver upon the clip and then gently working out the back cover with a smaller screw driver in the hinges

Money. Saved. - Turned out to be a randomsomethingwaste in the small entry of the flow meter blocking the tiny hole, guess something fell into the water tank connector while undcocked water tank and then got sucked in. So might wanna check that too if needed.

Hi appreciate the detail in your video. After learning what the problem was from your video I thought I'd try getting air lock out with dismantling. Steps I used were; 1. removing drip tray, water tank, bean hopper and inner grinder. 2. Roll machine around and turn upside down while rolling around. 3. Reassemble and on second purge of hot water dial the machine kept pumping👍🏽
