Before this July 24 to Sept 24 prices have doubled in 3 months. Nigeria is expensive o! 5 bed house in Opebi, only 3 rooms in use, electricity cost 65k a week and that's subsidised with inverter, oh and I still use gen, so factor diesel cost (50ltrs a week, about 60k) because they take light almost EVERYDAY. I still regulate the use of the ACs. Let's not talk about the constant harassment by police officers on the rosd, extorting money off drivers. Petrol cost - 19/01, I went from Ikeja to VI, Lekki 1 and VGC, then back to Opebi 35k, I had to intermittently turn the AC to save fuel consumption. Do that 3x a week 105k Oh and food, stick to local food, I went to buy Penne pasta in a supermarket, lidl brand 3k(£1.50) in London 70p. 2kg of chicken 10k/£5 (local market), supermarket 14k/£7. In London £3-5 max (lidl vs Waitrose). An average Chinese take away in London £30 for 3-4/5 dishes, Nigeria 90-110k (£45-55). And easy 200k a week on feeding. In a week u are looking at spending 500k on basic stuff, 2M a month, excludes rent. How many average persons earn this a month. So if you're not among the filthy rich people, remain in your abroad o!!
