Este filme e uma vergonha, nojento, bizarro e horroroso,um diretor vagabundo , produtores imbecil que nao entende nada de cinema, mais o papel mais triste e lastimavel desta porcaria foi o de reeve, depois de ficar famoso e conhecido no mundo em superman 1 e 2 , faz um superman 3 tao absurdo e lamentavel, vira um bizarro safado e malvado que debocha das pessoas quando faz as barbaridades no filme, foi capaz ate de pegar a vila, uma piranha vagabunda mal carater e sem moral em uma cena podre e vergonhosa, depois da bandida mandar este asno furar um navio e vazar oleo no mar, a cena do ferro velho não apaga nem um pouco o papelão safado deste cara nesse filme caótico e infeliz.

I made it all the way through this movie somehow, and wish I hadn’t. It’s oddly and unfortunately stuck with me for many years. Just the thought of it makes me nauseous. As another commenter stated, I came here for some sort of closure.

I really have a strong feeling thats the final season of LOST where the confrontation between jacob and the smoke monster in the beach have resemblence to this movie. In LOST smoke monster is the manifestation of evil and jacob the saviour of life. Both are represented as black and white respectively like the colors of the ancient board game locke introduc to us in one episode. Moreover the visuals and shots where they sitting in the backdrop of this huge ocean has uncanny similiarities with death playing with knight.

Ben, i notice a majority of your workouts focus on full range of motion, bulletproofing etc... but do you ever focus on plyometrics? Contrast training? Explosiveness/ballistics work (olympic lifting/kettlebells). Lately I've been very fascinated by the Marinovich system and their students (nick cursons: speed of sport, gavin Mac: sports science lab). I've also always seen benfits from kettebells from Pavel Tsatsouline, Steve Maxwell etc... I'd love to know your thoughts on other forms of trainings. Cheers!

I personnaly don't really see an unwanted child story, but more a story about suicide. We see the World becoming more and more awful for Henry. His "child" (or things), may be the représentation of what he hate about the World. Or maybe what he hate about himself ? The girl in the radiator invite him to join her in heaven where everything is fine as his life become more and more a nightmare, with all the things that makes him unhappy and disgusted (wife, the girl in the hall, violence, industry....) It's at least my interprétation

I watched it wen I was just 13 years old. I was deeply impressed and so am I now. Only later I read the stories by Akutagawa, which the film is based upon. Impression from the film was much deeper, I must confess.

18 seconds in where it says "and a beautiful,.brave young.???? fighting for the very survival of the human race". Does anyone know what's said where I put question mark? Does it say scientist or something else, I can't quote make it out. Thanks

This 8 minute review is awesome. I would highly recommend the movie about the Spanish Conquistador Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca.... it is a story of survival...
