They normally come south between end of February to April

I know exactly where you guys are. I remember one arvo, night session I got 5 snapper all over 65, 3 bream around 38-40. 2 jackets, 4 silvers and 2 kings. My mate did 1 king 3 snapper 6 bream and 2 silvers (I have the pics to prove it). Epic night.I remember we had to stop every few minutes when we walked out of there with the gear and the fish. Believe it or not all of this was caught on a 5/0 hook and size 6 ball sinker, I run a 6.5 Alvey on a 13.6 rod and my mate uses a 7 Alvey on a 13.6. Try an Alvey boys, bait is the go. Good video and good you guys called it when it started to look sketchy.

That's called a LBG buddy, it holds up the rod without needing a rod holder.

We fish heaps of the ledges from south coast all the way up to North Coast NSW. You just need to give them a try.

Hi! Just want know what is rod weight of specialist PE 2-4, Is it heavy ? Just thinking which rod i can paired it with size 6000 gosa. Is the specialist MH 1002 model bit heavy for the 6k reel?Just need some info between 2 models. Hard deciding. 😂Thnks

Not sure the weight of the PE 2-4, but we pair it with 8000 size reels. The MH is too heavy for a 6k reels, it's rated PE 3-6

Have you had experience with the Heavy specialist? My son has the heavy and wants to try shore jigging and not sure whether the tip may be too stiff. We have a variety of jig sizes at home.

One of the boys Hans has the heavy Specialist. He uses it for stickbaits & minows. You need the medium or medium light for jigging.
