Powerfully told, Winston. Throughout your story, I was taken through a whole range of experiences, some I related to, some I didn't, but through all of them, I could feel your emotion, and almost cried when you struggled to speak through the pain to continue telling your story, and I'm glad you did, because if you didn't, I never would've gotten to hear how this story ended, with you realizing you've always had the power to choose how you see things, how you interpret them, and how you feel about them, and realizing you're free.

Some time ago I read an article about how people with schizotypal and gay people (some, not all, of course) have a same psychological phenomenom. Its that both have like a double life, between how they truly feel inside their head and how they have to act in front of other people. Im diagnosed with schizotypal, and Ive been having to act (mask) in front other people, hiding my thoughts, the same gay people have to live before they came out.

This was an amazing presentation! Don't forget to add the burned in captions as well since it will help for those who might prefer to watch instead of listen. Introverts like me sometimes prefer to read.

Mariah-Jane's story is a story for every woman and man to hear, as she navigates her circumstances with compassion, humour and courage. She is an inspiration to those who seek to understand themselves, and who come to conclude that self-love is strengthened by specific actions that elevate the human spirit of compassion for self and others.

You are an AMAZING human Michael! Not only have you opened yourself up and been vulnerable (which is soooo difficult for most of us!), you've shown us all what being open to love, kindness, ongoing healing and growth can do! You are not only learning, but you selflessly pass your life lessons onto those that are ready to learn! I am one of the, I'm sure many, people that has been touched by all of those qualities. I have greatly benefitted from knowing you, and am blessed to count you as my friend! You create a safe place, not only for yourself, but for me. THANK YOU!

Wow, while listening to her speech, I felt what she experienced and agreed with her feelings when she was told about racism. It was truly inspiring, and I feel proud of her. Yes!! We need to speak out for the equality of all human beings. I hope her efforts regarding the multicultural festival in Coquitlam can succeed in our community.
