Oops! You have tool bag. Sorry to jump in before watching all. Is there grease zerks on the shaft for the fan? Could be installed you have the knowledge. And if a twin pully was put on fan and motor a broken belt is redundancy to keep you open. Chances of two breaking is negligible. Please do more! Any maintenance on anything.

@@ovlov245 I like the pulley redundancy. Not something i would want to mess with. being that i do not own this building.... Tool belt next time would keep my hands free up those crazy stairs lol

Nice work! You care about presentation I would love to come and dine there! Small tip. Have a carpenter belt and front pouch. Can carry a few tools you may use and items in pouch. Saves up an down stairs for bits n bobs. Love your video!

Nice job, keep an eye on that cap for build up, technically speaking the rigid liner should have been wrapped in ceramic wool since the clay tiles had gaps in them (mortar joints dried out) and the liner should have been terminated flush with the cap then a steel anchor plate installed and a section of class a pipe for additional height if needed, the reason is that the extra height of the liner as is, isnt insulated and can cool down faster when cold condensing the smoke and making creosote at the cap. But your stove isnt as efficient, so the chimney temp should be higher then a modern stove reducing the risk of condensation of smoke.

I will definitely keep an eye on it for crescote buildup. Thank you for your advice; much appreciated

Chimney liners I've seen drop from the top like lined slinky
@tariello78Ай бұрын
Going with the rigid liner was more expensive but will ultimately be easier to maintain
@johnarnold893Ай бұрын
@@tariello78 I've had the slinky style for over 15 years and have never had a problem with it. Why easier to install.

I would have used the old tarp to cover the opening from the new tarp to the garage instead of cutting the new tarp. Now come next year, you made it more difficult for the guys you hire to put it up
@tariello782 ай бұрын
I will have to be there when they install it next year, and tell them about the modification. I appreciate the advice. Thank you
