Winter house prep

I am getting my house ready for winter in Montreal. We see an average 210cm or 83 inches of snowfall per year.

I would have used the old tarp to cover the opening from the new tarp to the garage instead of cutting the new tarp. Now come next year, you made it more difficult for the guys you hire to put it up
