This video is remarkable. It didn’t mention that you have to remove the tulip domes first. It showed a black hearing aid on a dark green background, so it wasn’t visually clear. The voice was quick - maybe to indicate that it was easy - and there was background music playing. Not the best thing to have happening with one hearing aid out. I finally figured it out, and didn’t break anything, but really, ReSound, you could have done better.

This isn't available for Iphone. The brochures advertise Auracast on the Jabra pro 20 hearing aids. I assume this is the case resound aids. I purchased with the need for auracast. This is false advertising.

Why does a Resound Nexia hearing aid have to be paired with the TV Streamer+? Auracast is a connectionless broadcast system in which the transmitter does not need to establish a connection with the receiver. And why does a Nexia hearing aid have to be connected to the TV Streamer+ before others can subscribe to the stream? What do family members and friends with Auracast headphones do when the owner of the Nexia hearing aids is not at home? Have a second pair of Nexia hearing aids in the drawer to be on the safe side so that they can also listen to TV?

Even though the Galaxy Flip 5 is not supported I am able to stream audio and phone calls. After a call I need to turn off bluetooth and turn back on.

Here is a Solution for a common problem with rechargeable h.d.'s from Resound: once connected, you may experience times when one of the h.d.'s stops connecting. Try this simple solution: Power off your cellphone. Wait a few seconds and Power it back on. Don't simply use the Restart button on the smartphone screen. Actually power off then power on. This isn't mentioned in GN's online troubleshooting guide. Long story short, the word "Android " is a bit deceiving because there are many different kinds of Android operating systems, depending on the manufacturer, and other reasons. So, it is very difficult for any hearing aid manufacturer to design an app that will work seamlessly with every type of Android smartphone (unlike Apple iOs, which never changed from its first smartphone to now). I prefer my Android Samsung Galaxy. But even depending on the specific model, Samsung uses various different Android platform operationg systems, and they all have thevword, "Android" in their names. So if you have trouble, like in the morning when you first take your h.d.'s out of the charger, put them on, and discover only one hearing aid connects, just Power Off your smartphone, wait a few seconds and Power it back to On. I hope this helps -- and I hope GN Resound reads this post and updates their troubleshooting tips.

Please make your videos accessible for for all. Need help with these resound hearing aids but videos like this don't help at all.

Dear Miguel, very delighted to come across this video. This is much more instructive to learning about first fit. I am still learning the software, using the current version 1.18. What I actually would love learn more about is the use of the gain adjustments to pick up sounds in high frequency ranges, as I am at profound hearing loss. I would also love to adjust for more speech in noisy restaurants, especially in Hong Kong (!!). And to listen to music that picks up sounds iike flute, violins, other high-pitch/frequency musical instruments. I am using Resound Key 4. And finally what are the proper adjustments for use with mobile phone via direct streaming using Samsung mobile phone. The only thing I cannot do is the REAL EAR MEASUREMENTS that many audiologists talks about. Many thanks once again for this video.

My wife creates an excessive amount of ear wax, and has profound hearing loss. I can't find an air vent, and there's no rubber dome to remove. Replacing the wax trap was the first thing I tried. The ear molds are not removable, you need a special tool, the receiver looks like it is inside the mold itself. I tried to fix it myself, she ended up needing a new ear mold. The audiologist she went to retired, and closed his office. We went to several audiologists, non of them will even attempt to clean or repair them. We can't afford the ~$4,000 to replace them, they're rechargeable. What's going on? HELP! You didn't show anything the average person knows.

Hey resound team, "Does this charging box have wireless charging on-the-go or must it be plugged in to recharge? " My Ai-Starkey rechargeable case holds a charge where I can put the aids in it for extra power when traveling and using my headphones. I tried that with my new ResoundGN hearing aids and the batteries were still dead. 😟

I bought this phone clip with a pair of Resound Nexie 9 rechargeables (2-13-24) & the multi-mic to use with a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. The hearing aids work great, but the accessories are fussy especially the phone clip. Seeing this technology is over 8 years old it's apparent why! The Micro USB charging rather than USB-C was my 1rst clue that this is old technology, and Resound still charges a pretty penny for these outdated accessories ;-(
