I learned of SKW in the latest American Patchwork Quilting magazine and have been watching all your videos on KZbin since. AMAZING. I can’t wait for my order to come, and sew excited to use my new quilt ruler. I only ordered one the Wonder curve, but since watching all these, I certainly wish I had just ordered the QCR too! thank you for such great instructional videos, I think I can do this!

What are the other markings on the ruler for? The other curved and dashed lines.

One can sew together two strips on both sides and then cut them on the bias

Do you sew ¼ inch seam or 1/8 in

I really like how she doesn't pin the curves to death and just free-hand sews them. I've found pinning curves to death actually makes the seam mor angular between the pins instead of rounded.

Are there mistakes in the pattern for the patchwork block measurements on #10?

Just bought the Sew Square 10. How do you get the brown covering off it?

Are the cutting labels correct concerning the earlier misprints? I have the original book and the errata sheets. PS mayne add a seizure warning about the flashing lights in the video, It is pretty intense.

Helen, Thank you and the crew for making this video. I was able to rewatch and pass on this information to the Hummingbird Workshop to the ladies who attended yesterday. They are very excited for all the rulers and patterns.

I recently bought the Posh Pocus pattern. I want to make a practice block using the 3.5 x 5 inch blocks. I don't see how to line up the ruler for those. Or do I just measure and make marks like the pattern says and line up the slot in the ruler on those marks? I keep trying to line up markings on the ruler with the edges of the fabric like in this video. Thanks!

Ok got the ruler and a pattern the wonder curved ruler What does it mean in my directions?They'recalling Shimmer A and B ??? Anyone know what this means? I'm doing a little bit of homework.

Going thru each step beginning with how to take the paper off the ruler, is so dynamic you have no idea.
