nice video, wish you touched on parametric and/or openscad models. i am new to this great hobby. while creation in fusion and tinkercad is one of the best things and I can totally see how one might feel protective on licensing and distribution, for an openscad / parametric model this is where I am lost. how is it possible that with 1000's of permutations out if the model the output can be restricted to no derivatives etc.. remix. I love that they're coming out with bigger game-changing printers at a really good price point. The problem is that now they need to look at making these things modular and more user serviceable if I have to change the Hot end. Why is it a 2-hour job when the technology exists when I should be able to slide out a nozzle and replace it? I have a flashforge and literally to change the nozzle you let it cool down and then it pops right out so their r&d need to come up with a modular parts. It will definitely set it apart from bamboo Labs because changing out the parts on the bamboo Labs is pretty involved and it doesn't have to be
@Zachary3DPrints7 күн бұрын
Indeed, I totally agree on that. replacing parts and especially the ones that needs replacement every X months, needs to be a quick job to do. Luckily there are some other companies, making it easier.

I still think $1500 is way to much. your better off getting a SV08 and putting the KCM upgrade on. for $1500 should have tool changers. SV08 + KCM upgrade allows you to spend $700 in filament before you reach the k2 price tag.

Looks good. They got the k2- nonplus? What's the price? I remember they had some early bird deals, then I never heard from the k2 again. Do you think the frame is better than the k1? Is the k1 getting multicolor as well? Glad to see a lot of new machines coming out. They don't have a new bed slinger? We need a 3d printer to beat bambulab.
