Thank you. However I have an unusual problem. I’m in the garage and plugged in a full size freezer. The next morning the freezer was working fine; all good. A week later the freezer is Not working and nothing else on that circuit is working. Nearby GFCI circuits are all working. No circuit breaker at the panel is tripped. In checking the rest of the GFCI circuits in the house there was one on the extreme other side of the house in the kitchen which is not working although the other GFCI outlets in the kitchen are still working. This makes no sense to me. Have you any other ideas please? Thank you.

Great video. Quick question: Hooking my new garbage disposal up and the ground is too short for some reason to wrap around the screw. Can I just use the clip instead or any other suggestions would be appreciated?

Make a pigtail on the short wire. Or an inline splice I would never recommend them on anything but on the ground they're pretty decent. I'm not a big fan of the Wago connectors but here is a link that you can see what I'm talking about amzn.to/4dqrNmF Or these amzn.to/3WPthzN Or like I said make a pigtail and extend that wire with a wire nut

Great Information. In my opinion the video was longer than it should be. I started to lose interest about halfway through but I hung in anyway. Like your channel.

These mowers are now made of cheap chinese plastic parts that break within a year or two. EGO doesn't oversee its own warranty shops, and they charge you hundreds for warranty repairs. It's a scam.

I used to have an Ego dual blade mower. It was equipped with the toothed muncher blade. Did great for me. The high lift bag blade and an another style mulch blade came with the mower. I am throgh with lawn care products that use large lithium battery’s. They make good house igniters. The house fire I went thru could have been attributed to these battery’s. I also had an Ego ride mower that used 4 of those Ego battery’s. I am going back to gas-if you stay with the lithium battery’s DO NOT KEEP THEM IN YOUR HOUSE OR ATTACHED GARAGE! Appliances that use small lithium battery’s don’t seem to be a problem. Right now use a lawn service to do my lawn. With that no gas or large battery’s to start a fire.. and my battery’s were not being charged at the time. My garage had no door so it’s very hot in summer-cold in winter. The Ego mowers were great but the battery’s are something I will stay away from. We need a new safer battery alternative.

We don't need a "safer battery alternative", You just need to stay away from lithium batteries if you don't have the capability to store them correctly.
@rexoliver7780
@rexoliver7780 12 сағат бұрын
@@billsikes4007 I was storing them properly. They CANerupt even when stored properly. Yes we need another alternative. At this point going to have the lawn and garden service do the lawns and garden. Means not storing gas or large battery’s.
@billsikes4007
@billsikes4007 10 сағат бұрын
@@rexoliver7780 The only reason I said something because there has never been a confirmed case of an ego battery blowing up and you clearly stated that you were not sure if it was the batteries or not. Store them properly, you will not have a problem, as proven by tens of thousands of others that have been using them for a decade+.

Now you have me thinking...I see something similar. My house has the ground /neutral, at the box like normal. BUT. The electrical box in my, 120volt camper, that plugs into my house with a regular 3 prong 30 amp plug, also has the neutral/ground connected. this sound like the same situation as doing that to an outlet. Is that OK in the camper box too? HELP.

I have had my ego lawn mower for the last 6 years,I ego came with the blade that is similar to the one you just replaced. In all those years, I I hadn't any problems. The only time is when the lawn is wet, it gets stock. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Question please. Instead of attaching the negative wire to the green ground screw which I think is definitely wrong. Can’t we attach a wire to the green ground screw and the other end to the metal box or a ground in the romex
@immrnoidall
@immrnoidall 3 күн бұрын
ON most receptacles , the green ground screw and the metal tabs on the top and bottom, that you put the screw through to connect it to the box, are the same thing. That being said, if you have a metal box ,that actually is grounded, and the screws holding it in are tight, that outlet would show it is grounded. If not, then that metal box has no ground.

In the interest of full transparency you should edit your title to note you also provide personal political commentary. A video about bending conduit should not contain views about ANY political party, a particular religion, or even the type of beer you drink. I've never watched a political commentary piece that suddenly broke out a bender and bent pipe. There's enough division already.

On the last large overhead conduit feeder run I did I used strike anchors. You are able to unbolt the conduits if necessary. I like those pin anchors for smaller size runs.

The leather and stitching definitely holds up. I have 3 and carry one every day. For the layout you wanted, you could get a right handed version and carry it left side, the keys would be further back but out of the way. I suggest the double clipped version is my perfect one. Also take a dab of super glue, 1 tiny neodymium, and small square of black ducktape make that clip stay down and not bump when not in use.

I installed 4 GFI’s on one circuit? Why? I had a house in Michigan with a basement. The builder installed a GFi outlet right next to the service panel and then proceeded to run that wire to each outdoor outlet, in back, in front and on side with AC units. Problem is, especially during Christmas season when it rained the GFI would often trip and I had to run down to the basement to reset. Hard to determine if it was front or back lights. I found it much more convenient to just add a GFI to every location wired in the correct fashion. Live in Texas now but they did the same thing, first outdoor outlet gets GFI and everything downstream is daisey chained. Pretty sure this is done as a cost savings.
@MountaineerOutdoors
@MountaineerOutdoors 7 күн бұрын
