Great video i own a older yamaha royal star and I'm going to sell it for either the goldwing or the BMW ,and I'm like you I would love the extra horse power although the honda should have more then my yamaha , I'm 62 and I would like to do a 200 mile ride without stopping every half hour and Finnish a ride without feeling beat up ,so comfort is the top of my list and when my wife comes want her comfortable to, so if you happen to be selling your wing let me know I'm in Northern California, I really appreciate your video and honesty and will be subscribing as I will be buying other bikes for different occasions, I tried the adventure route with a 2014 VStrom although a great bike I feel a Enduro bike is better for off rode and a touring bike for touring and a road bike for playing and short cumutes, I will be subscribing to your channel

Love your reviews. I’m torn between buying a 2002 or later GW, Honda ST1300 or a 2012-2018 FJR. In my late 50s my back really needs an upright & comfortable riding position but bar risers worked on my Concours 14. Do you have any thoughts on the ST1300? Some say it has heat issues & a lot of my riding is in Florida. Would appreciate your opinion on the ST1300 if you have a few minutes. Also was close to pulling the trigger on the Harley Pan America but honestly I’m worried about the future costs of maintenance & how the bike will hold up over time.
@JSProjectWild
@JSProjectWild 9 күн бұрын
2002-2004 Wings had the cracked frame issues, you can research that. My neighbor had an ST1300 and really liked the bike but hated all the heat while riding, and that's in the North central US. I've owned a bunch of fairly expensive Harleys, (you can see a bunch of them on my channel) and now I own none and it will probably stay that way. Thanks much for watching and commenting!!! 🦾👍

@@JSProjectWild Thank you for your time & advice. Agree that I hear about the heat issue all the time from the ST1300. On top of the frame weld issues with the 2002-03 GWs it looks like Honda refined the cooling system by 2006-07. But I do have concerns about GW heat. Hate to say it but the coolest running bike o ever had was a Yamaha Star 1300. It was a cruiser trying to imitate Harley but the V-twin was effortless in traffic & had a great radiator. I think I’m going to have to ride a GW & a ST1300 to see if I can even handle the heat. Thanks again sir.

I'm glad to see your video here... my Frigidaire 50-pint just started icing up, so something's wrong, and I'm in need of new one. I saw this model on Menard's website, and the low price caught my attention, and they are in stock at a Menard's close to me. I was curious about the pump... I have no need for a pump since I have always hooked up a short piece of garden hose to continuously drain into my basement floor drain... I was wondering if I could run it continuously and not even use the pump... to me it's just something else that will go wrong... glad to see that I don't even need to turn the pump on. Looks like it has a 3-year warranty too, which is a big plus... I have a hard time getting more than 2 years out of current dehumidifiers, and no one fixes them these days, unless you attempt it yourself. Heck, I had a Sears Craftsman that lasted about 25 years !
@JSProjectWild
@JSProjectWild 14 күн бұрын
The unit is designed so that when the water raises the float towards the top of the tank the pump turns on and empties the tank. Therefore, when a drain hose is hooked up the water just drains out and no water gets into the tank so the pump never turns on. My dehumidifier is still doing its job as it should. Thanks much for watching and commenting!!! 🦾

Great review. I have a 2019 GT with a Sargent World Sport seat which I love. However due to a recent issue with an enlarged prostate, long days in the saddle prove to be uncomfortable. So I'm seriously considering the AirHawk. Keeping in mind that the shape of the OEM GTL seat and the GT are very different. The Sargent seat is a bit wider and is, in and of itself, much more comfortable. You might want to check them out. Ride safe. Joe
