Unsteady throttles are horrendous. I almost bought a 750 hornet but it was impossible to ride at 20 or 30. My Yamaha is abrupt but stable, and my bmw throttle is silky.

I had a 790 duke which would not hold a constant throttle sonit went. However I also had a brand new 2022 honda africa twin which was just as bad.

CFmoto are great but they all suffer snappy throttles. Its not great but they make amazing stuff, just the snatchy throttle that takes away the experience. I know someone who got a CFmoto 500cc bike, he had it a month, then ended up on a Honda 250 dual sport thing. I do hope they fix the snatchy throttle, they make some lovely looking bikes and quads.

Sorry to see you get rid of the CFMoto, though I understand and have considered doing the same. Having gone through everything you've done, as well as having my ecu flashed, only to have the surge become worse, I finally put it all back to stock (minus the evap canister) and have decided to just ride it. I have seen no other ADV bike out there that I like as much for the price, and as I have a few other bikes and this is not my only ride, I decided to keep it and keep searching for the fix. Good luck in your sale and let us know what you replace the CFMoto with.

I’ve just sold mine cfmoto 800 mt for the same reason after 13 months and 18,000 miles it’s my second cfmoto and last till they sort the fuelling out from closed to open throttle it jumps back to life with a sarge great bike let down by the fuel map it had all up to date maps… I don’t blame you I lost a fortune twice now.. gone back to my Hondas …

Hi Ivan, please put all your CFMOTO vids in a playlist so that they are still available. Sorry to hear you are selling it. I love mine but I do not have any experience to compare it to. I do like that the bike is a bit more of a challenge than the motors I did a testride on which where butter smooth but which also gave me a bit of a boring feeling. I like the feeling that I have a bit of work to do. It is a bit snatchy but not really bothersome for me. I still have to look 👀 into some of your vids where you do something to the O2 meter and evap something. Curious what this has done for the bike. Best of luck from Holland..

Sorry to hear you are selling the CFMOTO Ivan. But I totally understand how you feel. I have contacted CFMOTO about a software update, but still no firm date. I will keep hold of my bike for another couple of months, if not fix for the throttle then I’ll be going down the same route as you. Love the bike, but the throttle response lets it down ☹️

In your opinion, Lonewolf, I have a GS 1250 adventure purchased in 2021 during Covid April! How many miles or kilometers do you feel I can get out of this bike with all the regular maintenance necessary? I am now at 43,000 miles or 70,000 kilometers🎯🙏🔱🙏🎯👍

CF moto owns 2% of Pierer Mobility AG ( KTM ) Pierer Bajaj AG owns 74.2% of Pierer Mobility AG ( KTM ) Bajaj Group owns 49.9% of Pierer Bajaj AG although Bajaj does not directly hold shares in Pierer Mobility AG, it indirectly controls a significant portion of it through its shareholding in Pierer Bajaj AG. This shareholding structure allows Bajaj to have significant influence over Pierer Mobility AG while retaining majority control with the Pierer Group. CF moto only owns 2% of KTM and given the size of the group this will not affect CF moto.

They will fold the whole thing. All in the same group as KTM will be going to the wall. At this moment in time NO ONE is going to bail them out. Main thing is though after they fold you wont be able to get parts. The only thing to do is sell it now and get what you can. After they have gone the bikes will be pretty much worthless.

A legal e bike has a 250 watt motor and is pedal assist and restricted to 15 mph The illegal E bikes are easy to spot they have 1000 watt hub motors in the back wheel and have an accelerator on the handlebars. They are capable of anything up to 55mph these are being use on our roads without license or insurance the police do not take any action what do ever against the riders of these bikes.I

Re the Remap, in Australia, there are NEW fuel maps issued in September 2023 that are another update to those issued in 2022. Additionally, we have the standard cooling fans reconfig and quick shifter update. All have made a great deal of difference.

Cfmoto venture CFMOTO-KTMR2R, cfmoto owns 51 stake with 49 being held by ktm. Cfmoto is a stand alone company, no issues.
