Luca do you know Jesus? I know that being Italian you may think of the many crucifix depicting Jesus Christ on the cross in Catholic churches. However Jesus is far more than the sacrifice He gave! Jesus is the Living Word! Jesus Christ spoke everything that is into being! When Jesus walked the streets of Israel he healed many, the blind could see, the deaf could hear, the paralysed could walk - Jesus even brought the dead back to life. Jesus Christ is much more than a religion, Jesus Christ is God - He is the perfect Healer and through Jesus Christ you can be healed! I was wheelchair and bedbound for 8 + years when Jesus healed my legs and told me to stand up. I first heard from Jesus as I watched the Passion of the Christ in 2015 - I was struck by my my unworthiness and the knowledge that the purest, most beautiful soul who ever lived, suffered unimaginable agony for me, to pay for my sins. Jesus spoke to me for the first time as I repented for my unworthiness and He told me ‘I did all of this for you - what have you done for me’ when I asked Jesus what He would have me do, He said ‘read my word’. So I did - I read the Bible and slowly realised that there was so much that I had learned growing up as a catholic that was not even in the Bible - and what’s more the most important thing, the way to salvation had not been explained. Then I read this verse : ““For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭21‬ ‭ESV‬‬ bible.com/bible/59/jhn.3.16-21.ESV I felt convicted and knew it to be true “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬ bible.com/bible/59/act.3.19-20.ESV Everyone has the choice to believe in God, to believe in Jesus Christ and repent and turn away from their sins. Jesus told us in the Bible that whatever we ask for in the name of Jesus we will be given! Please pray about it, I know faith is such a personal thing, but I see a beautiful soul who loves his wife and daughter and has been through so much. Please consider praying and asking Jesus to show you that He is real. In the very words of Jesus - ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ bible.com/bible/59/mat.7.7-8.ESV You are such a beautiful family and I could not watch your suffering and not reach out and show you the God who healed me. I had so many doctors tell me that I would never walk again. Yet I am standing tall. My children had no memories of me being stood because of how young they were when I first became wheelchair bound. The joy in their faces when they watched me stand - every birthday wish, every prayer at bedtime were all ‘God please help Mummy walk again’ and God answered their innocent and beautiful prayers! We many be weak but Jesus Christ is Strong!

This is an adventure your family will always remember. My wife and I built 3 homes together while we were still working at our full time occupations. Some couples get divorced during an experience like this but like my wife and I and both of you it will bring you closer together. In these big projects, you can clearly see each other’s weaknesses and strengths and it brings out the true character of your spouse. Good luck to you and your family and God bless you all.

Me, I do a complete tear-down and do it right (that's if you have the money to do that). I imagine it's a lot harder to get to a store to get what you need. Not like you have Home Depot over there.

Yea I looked into it and decided it wasn't worth it, and that just renting something for a month or two in various places worked better.
