Awesome video, can you provide any info on how you made the actual light up portion, just curious as to what and how you used to make the black / white lettering.

can you explaine you acetone transfer process. I tried it and all it did was leave a blob of ink on the wood.
@BillSinWorkshop Жыл бұрын
You need to print your Design mirrored and then put the side where the ink is onto the wood. Use a small paint brush or a cloth fabric, poor it with a acetone and push from the outside your logo. It works with small characters and logos but not good with a picture. Also the surface should be even and it's better when you sand it with at least 240 grid. And don't forget to clear the sanded area. Good luck

was that a laser print you used to transfer logo with acetone?

Yes it was a laser printer

Thanks for the very good video, I have a question about the materials you used, where is the clamp at minute 5:30, or how to buy it, thanks for any answer

Great video! Question: what is the process you are using to apply the decals? Are you printing those yourself? Is it special transfer paper?

Does anyone know what type of material he used as the backing for the lettering so that it'd light up? I'm imagining sanded acrylic but looked like i came pre-sanded and so i think there's maybe a particular name for that stuff that i'd like to look to grab!

Did you have to cut the LEDs or did you buy them a certain size?

You always need to cut them on the length you need.

I'm loving that work shop!! Lots of really cool toys! My stitching pony is just an inexpensive one I found on Amazon but it works okay. I really like your design, especially the quick release clamp. I think I'll be building a new one soon! I like that you used a thinner wood for the uprights. It looks way easier to adjust for different thicknesses of leather. My current one requires some fiddling to get it adjusted properly. Well done!

I work at the airport. I built one of these for my lunchbox/briefcase. 1st time I went to work there was 4 officers with guns drawn, slammed to the ground and escorted off the grounds. And I was late for work. They didn’t even compliment me for the hours spent on my project.

Would a box cutter work?
@BillSinWorkshop3 жыл бұрын
It could work. The material is not thick but you have to be consistent with your cutting...Mark me on Instagram when you have it ready. I'll be glad to see your project.
