Really nice build and a model which I will use for my own pony. Too bad that many of these diy videos require a fully equipped woodworking shop.......

I'm loving that work shop!! Lots of really cool toys! My stitching pony is just an inexpensive one I found on Amazon but it works okay. I really like your design, especially the quick release clamp. I think I'll be building a new one soon! I like that you used a thinner wood for the uprights. It looks way easier to adjust for different thicknesses of leather. My current one requires some fiddling to get it adjusted properly. Well done!

Loved your tools! I too am in the process of making a stitching pony. Some aspects of your design I may incorporate into mine, like the clamping bolt abd the way you mounted the jaws. Thanks for the help!

Oh this was so awesome to watch! I think this ranks among your best videos so far! The videography was outstanding and I really liked the intro and outro with voice over. The project itself looks super cool and I can't wait to see you use it. Thanks a lot for the shout out, I wasn't expecting to see the blade but when you used it I had the biggest smile on my face :D I hope it worked ok so far (Since it was a prototype). Cheers Alex

can you explaine you acetone transfer process. I tried it and all it did was leave a blob of ink on the wood.
@BillSinWorkshop
@BillSinWorkshop 2 жыл бұрын
You need to print your Design mirrored and then put the side where the ink is onto the wood. Use a small paint brush or a cloth fabric, poor it with a acetone and push from the outside your logo. It works with small characters and logos but not good with a picture. Also the surface should be even and it's better when you sand it with at least 240 grid. And don't forget to clear the sanded area. Good luck
