DOUBT In pasteur effect, even if energy demand is fulfilled by TCA cycle, precursor for TCA cycles are getting from glycolysis only. So if u need energy via TCA cycle u will also need glycolysis which is not possible if u inhibit glycolysis??????????

I have done OGTT test yesterday. I got a peculiar result. My fasting blood glucose was 84, after 2 hrs it was 182 and after 3hrs it was 65. Ignorantly I have continued my regular medicines along with a steroid. I have not discontinued. Please give me the clarity
