You mentioned that the value of E should lie between 10 and 20 and at a later instant you are saying that if value is less than 20, it will be not statistically valid. This is to some extent creating confusion.

In the second case..it should be less than 10 not 20 😅 Less than 10 creates invalidity

Sir i am doing animal experiments for antidiabetic activity...i used 30 animals ...and grouped as 5 groups...is it fair?

no add at least 10 per group, the animal may die during disease induction

It's good as a bare minimum but if animals die then your data might be statistically skewed. Be careful about that.

What you have shown is the degree of freedom not the number of animal to be used. 3 animals in each group are not representative. There are other factors to consider

@@DrArindamGhoshBiochemistry It would be better to give at least one reference to back it up. The way we do it is by calculating Power in statistical software. Here, it's not clear to me why it should be 10-20 and where this number is coming from? What's the scientific logic behind it?
