In the US, they spend way more time studying and taking two weeks to get your glasses done. Total waste of the time. In Asia, it takes about 30 minutes to get your glasses ready. They are much lighter and have used better quality of glasses like Zeiss or Hoya.

OK so am I the only one wondering how they can get the glasses lenses so clean when you first get your glasses?🤯 And you feel like the glass cleaner doesn’t measure up to the crisp cleanliness of when you first get them? My glasses stay foggy even though I clean them.

Get rid of AR coatings and go with plain old poly carb with no extras. Clean with soap water and dry with a cotton towel. Thank me later.

Wow Wonder how they are measured with "club" style frames where the lens goes a little bit under the frame

I wonder if the bother to filter the water to recover the glass powder or just goes into drain.

thanks for the video, creating awareness how prescription glasses are made. very nice. water flow is used for glasses, but for light weight fibre or plastic sheet specs how they are made.

I have small identical scratches on both of my lenses from where the pieces are stuck on to the glasses to shape them. They just came back from the lab after getting a new prescription. They also do not fit my face like they used to. Keep slipping. I think the work was poorly done. Now they are closed due to the virus. Yay.

you know the actual LENSES depending on which ones you get are anywhere from 5 dollars to 15 at most. but usually 2 to 10 dollars are normal. but they will sell to you for about 50 up to 200 dollars or more for lenses. a TOTAL RIP OFF. Frames too. Just because they put a name brand on the frame, they will charge you 300 to 500 dollars.. and actually MOST of them are all made at the same place anyway. eyeglasses are a HUGE markup
