You dont seem to have quite grasped the thinking behind the hair rig. But as long as your catching, that's good.

Nice smoker and definitely worth the money. But I'll stick with the Char-Griller "patio pro" I purchased at HEB back in 2006.

@@DrFrankenschtein For a grill that's 18 years old now it's still in remarkably good shape. Looking forward to another summer of cooking with it!

Which should be adjusted first... the tension or the brake? Also, how do I know how much brake to apply?

I completely agree with this review. I still love this stuff more than regular braid because it is SO MUCH thinner and casts WAY better. Super sensitive especially when fishing for crappie or pan fish.

The aluminum spool is designed for braided line. The graphite spool is for mono or flouro and is designed to keep the weight down. The gear ratio is 5.5:1 which is a little higher than most other baitfeeder reels. This makes it a bit faster on retrieve and increases the inches per turn. I plan on buying one soon!

As for temp differences at upper and lower racks, just cook on the upper rack what needs a higher temp, like chicken. But then you have chicken dripping on your meat down below. Not sure one needs a two level rack system.

Like you started fishing for carp when I was a little kid fun fight!! Looks like a good bait often use the cattle cubes as chum always wanted to try it as a base for bait but I've used the same recipe for almost 50 yrs taught to me by a old-timer back in the day! I've even fished several carp tournaments here in Oklahoma took 2nd twice but never won well made video gona have to try this!!!

If you fish for carp and you don't want to over feed fish use nuts birdfoods they get digested quickly and don't over fill them.Im a UK carp angler and bait maker have had great success with these baits.

Yes. I looks kind of like dental floss. You need a very good knot tied correctly. I have some in a good spincast reel and it casts a mile. Will try some on a spinning reel next. Would recommend mono leader or fluro as it is somewhat visible.
