I have the 2 trade omni's of harrow county but I think I'll buy this complete edition. Stunning art and a great story. My favourite omni's I bought this year are - Hellblazer omnibus vol 1 by Jamie Delano. I also bought and read Scalped Omni recently and like you I'd never read it before but my word... absolutely outstanding and brutal read. Reminded me of 100 bullets.

Im really conflicted on Uncanny X-Men, it has the elements there that should make it a home run for me but just hasnt clicked with me yet. Surprised but delighted to see She-Hulk make the top ten, i initially overlooked this run but i'll have to go back and give it a go since i could really go for a slice of life series these days. Other than the Ultimate lineup i really haven't read much marvel this year.

I didn't read everything this year, obviously, but this list is decently similar to mine. My favourites include the first two issues of Batgirl (mainly issue 1), the Absolute books, with Wonder Woman being my favourite so far, the Trinity special, Plastic Man No More and the first issue of Two-Face which I thought was phenomenonal.

I agree with thenplacements as well. But i didnt play dw6 or dw7 so i have no comment. DW3/DW4/DW5 are the ones me and my cousin put in hours. DW4 was probably my favorite because they added Zhou tai (my favorite)

whity used to drop some solid game reviews back in the 2000's.

When I discovered Spawn back in the 90's (issue 13) it changed my life forever. It wasn't the character, it was the art. As a kid who took an interest in art, I had almost given up until the glorious day I picked up that issue. I can't stress enough how much I was influenced by McFarlane's art (along with Sam Kieth and the Maxx.) Yeah, Spawn is kinda meh. But to me, McFarlane's art was what did it for me.

My favorite is Terrifier 3, but my favorite kill is still the hacksaw scene from the first. Something about it is just visually shocking and torturous.

Finished the first 3 seasons of the TV show and I grew really curious about the comic, so I ordered the first volume to see how I would like it and wow!! I actually enjoyed it way more than the TV show 😁

For me growing up it was the dynasty warriors games, id play the mainline games with my cousins and the empires games with my little sisters since i could create custom warriors in those games. My sisters got a kick out of demolishing hundreds of enemies with their likeness on screen and having their own horse to ride. Another honorable mention for me was the splinter cell games namely conviction and blacklist. I dont really like stealth games but these two i loved since they let you be what i call 'Aggressively Stealthy'. More Jason bourne rather than Tenchu. These also had some great co op stories with twists i didnt see coming. I played the entirety of Conviction's co op in one sitting with an absolute stranger who was open to talking to me, a complete noob, with a mic. I'll never forget it, was a ton of fun. Things get even more goofy in blacklist. Also i dont know if its still online but Journey on the PS3 is another great one though thats completely online co op. Again i played through the whole thing with a complete stranger but it was magical.

Always wanted to get into Ghost Rider so this is right up my alley, plus im loving the artwork showcased in here which isnt always the case when it comes to 90s art.

Ive only read a bit of Ennis's Punisher Max but i really enjoyed what i read. He made Frank fucking terrifying in that run, not only did he give less fucks but the way he's drawn in that run even adds to it since he's built like tank and his eyes are often shadowed. Really curious to check out Jason Aaron's run since his is considered to be even better than Ennis's.

Im a newbie to JLA. What Omnibus order do you suggest?

Interesting list. I'm a massive Ennis fan. Never found him " Edgy " i do read that allot though especially concerning The Boys from i imagine American Superhero fans who hate the fact Ennis mocks them. He's a superb writer who covers the human spectrum of emotions. Here's my top 5 in descending order - 5. Crossed/Sara/Chronicles of Wormwood. I have the entire Crossed run featuring many different writers. Some useless others outstanding - Ennis and Spurrier. Spurrier did a spin off Crossed called Wish you were here... it's an incredible read and the best Crossed has to offer. Allot of Crossed is torture porn but Ennis started it well and later on inckuded a trade showing how it started in North Yorkshire where i live. Its 28 days later on steroids porn. Sara i agree is a good read but i need to reread it as its been awhile. Chronicles is hilarious and blasphemous with a preacher vibe. 4. The Boys. First time i read through this i wasnt blown away but by the end i loved it. 2nd time through it was outstanding. This is where Ennis got the " Edgy " title from but everything he does is tongue in cheek. Amazing art throughout and a rollercoaster ride of superhero humiliation. 3. Hellblazer. His run is often touted as being the best part of its 26 tpb run but i dissagree. I have them all plus the 2 omnis and even though it is superb throughout i would say Jamie Delano's start to the series has the best writing. Love all 26 books though to be fair. 2. Punisher Max and Marvel Knight. Love Marvel Knight for its ridiculousness and yet again humiliating superheroes. Dark and funny throughout the omni. Max is another level entirely with the humour long gone and the 2 omnis containing his entire run absolutely amazes me everytime i read them. 1. Preacher ( what else!? ) I upgraded to the 3 absolutes ( yet to be opened n read ) but the entire run utterly knocked me for six when i first dived in to the deluxes. There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how good Ennis n Dillons run is. A masterpiece. I have the Hitman omni sat on my shelf waiting to be opened n read so im interested if it will push into my top 5. All the best ✌️

The thumbnail was about to make me come in here throwing hands but your actual tier list matches mine in every single way. 3U has a lot of nostalgia value for me since Tri was my first MH game, but the underwater combat was definitely a big downside. And I will always appreciate Rise for bringing back the silly joke weapons that I loved from the old school games.

The writers should have change Kaine's last name to porter instead of Parker in the comics.
