I like the “smart dogs” at Walmart, sold in the bagged salad mix area.. I bring water to boil, turn off heat, put the dogs in the water 2 mins, then right onto the bun..I like mayo on the bun, ketchup and mustard, dill relish, and red or white onion, I also like them with chili man chili and shredded cheese on the bun!!

Okay, so if you're looking for 'snap', you may be disappointed in Armour. I found Ball Park to be spongy, Nathan's and Sabrett rather chewy. Armour is on the softer side. Nathan's and Sabrett had the most flavor. I've been trying to think why I liked Armour best. They have a more mild flavor. But the kind of flavor you want to keep eating. Like oh, that's yummy! I need another bite. And another bite. I don't experience that often with hot dogs.

If you add orange marmalade with the sauce and a bit of orange jello it'll be much better and if you want a bit of spice put sweet chilli sauce with it. Trust me it taste like takeout.

Great comparison video Ikura! I'll admit, I've never had an Armour hotdog. I watched your last video on them, and was curious, so I went to some supermarkets in and around my area and found that they arent sold here. As a NYer, I'm a loyal fan of Sabrett hotdogs, they are the one's sold in the MLB stadiums here and on all the NYC street carts.A little FYI tidbit concernerning Nathan's Hotdogs...Nathan's buys its dogs from Sabrett and has a deal with them that allows them to re-package them as Nathan's brand. Sabrett does't care cause they get paid either way.👍

Left NYC in Dec 2004. Miss it dearly and Sabrett were my favorite. Not sure why they aren't anymore. No. Nathan's are Sabrett repackaged? I've never heard that! What? :0

There's nothing like a Hebrew National. Every time I hear "hot dog" I remember this: In the film "Mr. Saturday Night," Billy Crystal as aging borscht-belt comic Buddy Young Jr. tells his brother: "I tell you, this Patty Duke's sexy. Remember the theme song? 'Patty likes to rock and roll, a hot dog makes her lose control.' There's a date I want. 'Bartender, I'll have a vodka and tonic, and a Hebrew National for the young lady and keep them comin'."

6:16 There is a Pharma company in Japan that has created a drug that can re-grow teeth. As it turns out, There is a protein that controls the tooth growth, and once our second set grows, it turns off. The Company figured out how to get that to restart again. Takes about 6 years (the amount it normally takes to grow) and they will fill in as a 3rd set.Good news for the older years. Won't have to eat anything mush unless you want to. prime rib to the end.

Looks good! I wonder if the cheese "sauce" would be less curdly if you blended in a little bit of sodium citrate, the trick to a really smooth cheese sauce. Normally, for a stovetop mac n cheese I add 1/2 tsp sodium citrate in 1/2 cup simmering water, then add 8 oz of fresh shredded cheese (not the pre-shredded stuff that's coated in cellulose).

That was fun! Love a meatloaf sandwich. Your looked delicious. The chunky bologna and cheese did too. When I was a kid I either got pb&j on Arnold white bread or two very thin slices of genoa salami and always an apple for dessert. We were given 30 cents a week towards 'milk money' and got one of those dinky little milk cartons that never quenched your thirst. I never had a lunch box, just a brown paper bag and if I could bring it home so that Mom could reuse it the next day, she was happy. No wonder I'm maladjusted 😂.

After roughly 20 years of not having hot dogs, every brand that I tried smelled and tasted funny. Or bland. That goes for frozen corn dogs as well. Recently, I noticed DG selling Armour cheese dogs. I liked the Armour corn dogs so gave the cheese ones a try. Granted, there's not a noticable ammount of cheese but they smell and taste how I remember hot dogs used to.
