Sorry to flood the comments but oh, the nostalgia. I started with the Commodore 64. My uncle turned me on to MIDI composition software........ placing each note in score fashion with a joystick, using a Casio CZ-101 and Casio HT-300, both of which were multitimbral. I spent endless hours composing symphonic soundtrack music. The CZ-101 had a RAM cartridge; you could buy floppy disks jam-packed with excellent patches, transfer them via serial/MIDI into CZ-101 cartridge. However, I really yearned for a much tighter system clock, which was why the Amiga was a must-have, but productivity was hindered by price for such software as Bars n' Pipes....... the fact is with the Commodore 64 I could do what Jan Hammer was doing with the Atari ST :) GREAT SHOW, man.

I had the 500, a 1-MB Agnus, the audio sampler hardware/software, DCTV, SCSI hard drive in case that slid onto the port on side. I LOVED it. I owned Imagine 3D and DeluxePaint, made $2300 in 4 days creating 3D graphics for laser-disk based testing for military medical training. I paid $285 US for my first 50 MB hard drive, and some astronomical price for the 2400 baud modem. The most AMAZING (goofy, really) thing I'd done with the 500 was booting up a real Macintosh emulator, on which I also ran a PC DOS emulator :) It was actually 100% the Amiga with which I gained the experience to create a unique job title, hired to work in a DoD support group in the management of the entire electromagnetic spectrum. The Amiga was just underappreciated.

Just got myself a Pistorm32-lite and this is the first image I am going to try. The version I have fits nicely on a 16gb SD-card... Let's see what happens when I plug it in to my 1200.

I'm using MegaAGS on FS-UAE on my 2008 Dell D630 laptop with wireless Logitech F710 gamepad. Fantastic Amiga experience. Running it on a laptop makes your Amiga fun portable with display and keyboard without cables and other mess. And the same laptop can run dozen of other systems through emulation, native games and Steam games depending on hardware. People are buying raspberry pi, A500 mini and other junk while even old laptop with linux does it better and cleaner.

Sorry for commenting on an old video. Learning about PuTTy helped me to access the Update_All Menu as I couldn't acess it through the Mister itself and hitting up. Think it may be due me using the Mister through an arcade crt monitor.

Awesome video. -- What keyboard are you using? - If I load this core on my MISTer - the keyboard is banjaxed, it missed inputs or they are delayed by multiple seconds. This doesn't just affect the Vision menu, if I get to the OSD its also broken.

I was wondering what's the highest bit rate of the C64's user port? Not a modem's speed, but the raw speed of the port itself (2,400/9.600 baud/bits per second)? And what would be highest possible speed over the user port with a modern ethernet/WiFi IPmodem cartridge?

I just downloaded the latest version and addet it to FS-UAE. This is completely awesome launcher and well configured clean looking Workbench. All the best Amiga games are there. For years of using FS-UAE I was making my own game config, adding WHDLoad games to my virtual HardDrives and here it's a clean solution for people who don't want to mess around with the emulator. This is the greatest Amiga experience without need to buy any gadgets except a good PC controller.

Thanks for the review. I have just been watching another review of this which recommends choosing, from within the software, a Wi-Fi channel which is not being used so much. Is that something that you have tried before you got the travel router?
