Would have been nice to see you list a cheaper suburb like Wylie, Forney, Melissa, Justin, or Mansfield. Everything you listed is $$$$. And Southlake’s downside is how expensive it is. If you can’t keep up with the Jones’s there, don’t bother. Matt also leaves out a major con with schools in Allen & Plano. If you have teenagers, avoid Allen & Plano like the plague. Their high schools are HUGE. Unless your kid is Uber talented or high IQ, they won’t be able to compete to get on the sports teams, top arts clubs, or be anywhere near the top 10% of the class. They’ll get lost in the shuffle.

How did you not go to one of oldest and best bbq restaurants in Dallas. Sonny Bryan’s. No one does old style bbq like Sonny’s. I don’t know who gave you this list, but they don’t know Texas bbq

Reading the honks for each location. We are blessed to have not only the best Bar-B-Q in the world but other amazing foods in DFW. I use Hutchens as the gold standard to judge other restaurants.

Why didn’t you try the beef rib at Terry Black’s! That’s the star! ❤❤❤ And a big fat no to Lockhart! Their pulled pork is way too greasy. No, thanks!

This video is excellent and your opinion on the ranking is the BEST! Frisco/Plano ranking depend on themselves; i.e. their commercial district is under their control! However, the commercial portion of South Lake and Coppell depends on. Dallas and Fort Worth majorly! The other thing is the city size! You can't compare New York city with South Lake because the size is different!

If you're willing to drive to Sherman, I'd say cackle and oink is better than Hutchins. If you go there, try their brisket chili. It'll put you in a food coma

**Aging** population. The reason that’s a downside is people come and don’t leave, causing Plano’s school district to have to close some schools and realign school zones.

This isn’t what we consider to be a “suburb” here in PA. We’re thinking more of a rural feel, up 35, perhaps.

The seconod I saw Plano was #2 I immediately knew who took the #1 spot. DFW north of the PGBT just has amazing urban development. I commute to UTD, and it's just a stark difference how much 1 tollway changes how everything looks.

Terry Black is best for the food i ate a couple times, Hutchin has high prices, Lockhart is fine i also ate there, Ten 50's meat does not seem great, Cattleleack is overrated because I have been there. Cosco business center sells brisket for $2.99 a pound i saw a few weeks ago, how can these places sell for $35-$40 a pound? This is way overcharged. It is best to cook at home for the money 🤣. Look at the reviews is also a way to find out.

Any "Best BBQ in Dallas" list that doesn't have 'Mike Andersons BBQ' on it, isn't a "Best BBQ in Dallas" list. EPIC FAIL. Don't get me wrong, the places you mentioned are good. But Mike's is the next level good.

We go to Hutchins in McKinney. A few years ago they had $18 for all-you-can-eat of anything (ribs, brisket, sausage, etc.). It was insane. Like everywhere else, prices have gone up.

The Meshack in Garland, TX is one of the best i have ever had in the Dallas area. I guess it is not on the list because it is not a sit down place. But the BBQ is amazing. You have to get there early to get rids, they run out fast. It is literally a hole in the wall BBQ joint, but the food is fantastic.

Pecan lodge sucks. So heavily smoked and sauced you hardly taste the meat. And If you eat it at night don’t plan on sleeping because you need the stomach of a cow to digest it. Btw. Why no pork ribs? I prefer bbq in Europe. They have a light touch

Even though Apple store moving out of Stonebriar mall, Frisco's 2 "Best Buy" stores have an Apple computer service center. However, lots of people don't know this. This is my suggestion: Stonebriar mall should have a "virtual store" in its store listing and mention about this - the apple (OSX) computer technical services are still in local "best Buy"s so that tourists know this Frisco special ( special advantage ) and USA unique Apple computer service!

Some people says this: if you like sports, Frisco is the place for you! Actually, sports are very very important part of American lives ( especia NFL/Americak-football . Without sports, American's life will be boring! After Covid-19, only sports ( especial NFL game) can bring crowds to take risks on Covid-19 variants. So, that is why even Las Vegas try to become "sports city of USA"! Golf is the only sport even more wide-spread during Covid-19! However, golf represents high-end, expensive and luxurious so that it is not favored by ordinary people ( especial poor people)!

What happened to Pecan Lodge and Hard Eight BBQ?
@tomcat8662
@tomcat8662 Ай бұрын
Hard Eight is not good bbq. It’s a fun experience though getting to pick your own meat and walking next to the smokers. But that’s where it ends. The location is ripe for success though being planted in the middle of prime real estate with major shopping all around it.
