it's hard to say. Only time will tell. Big questions is whether prices will keep going up, too. That's the other side of the affordability equation.

Yeah, it could certainly take some time for rates to go down. Maybe back in the 5s in 2024… that’s my hypothesis. But who really knows, not even the fed chairman. 🤷♂️

Intrest rates going down ? I doubt if they will mabee a bit but don't hold urr breath if urr hoping it will go as low as it did that was stupid and it pushed up house prices so you won't get it both ways

In Vegas an average home was $100-$150k and new $175-$200k. Fancy homes $250-$350k. Out of nowhere used $375-$400 and new no options and no lot size $500k plus fancy homes multi million dollars. I don’t get it. It shows building a home and land isn’t factored in it’s all about scaring people into paying more in fear they won’t be able to buy in the future.
