Bruce, excellent tips. KZbinrs seldom mention those areas to clean & protectant. Once those areas are protected, they will be easier to clean next time. Another area I'll mention is the wheel wells. If rust occurs on a car, it usually starts here. I always pay close attention to those areas.

Very nice Bruce! For areas like the jambs and hatch, depending on level of dirt, I like to use a waterless wash with protection. Picks up dirt and protects too! Water beading in the tights spots really helps keep them clean longer. Alternatively, you could put down some sealant as you dry.

I always remove the license plates. The dirt and gunk behind them is guite something. The rear plate is the worst. 🇨🇦👍👍

One area really missed is the gear, you have to move it on the automatic vehicles so is clean on the lower part as well as the top part of them. Many times I have seen some friends who told me they had their vehicle detailed and I showed them that area missing from detail and then they switched their detailer to me😜😜😜

I started detailing in '06 for one simple reason; in our little automotive world, there was no one who we'd trust with our cars. Very long story short, got pretty good at it after a number of years. These days, I rarely do someone else's car. If it's truly special. I've aged, my company needs my time. and detailing is now more of a hobby. It was never the primary source of income, anyway. Enjoyed the video.

Whats even more interesting and suprising is the fact that High End manufacturers like Ferrari for example are the worst when it comes to actual Paint quality. Ive seen so many detailers and PPF installers say that prepping a new Ferrari for PPF is sometimes crazy because the have to deal swirl marks and paint overspray that happened right at factory. Crazy but true.

I paused when you said, "We're going to find out if that's true or not" Absolutely true. I made sure 430 times to tell our sales guy to not wash our car. I watched them take the plastic off and said leave it right there. Still had to polish it.

👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼also use the seatbelts brush to agitate and it will do great even with Rinseless. You can use a bit of steamer not too close to also soften the dirt and will not harm them
