I still use Solution Finish for trim and top with EXO. KC is the only APC I use. OG tire dressing applied with the Curve Ball makes my life much easier in every application (treaded sidewalls especially). Once I go through my 5-gallon Brake Buster container, I plan on switching to KC. Brake Buster really works for me. But on black wheels that hold areas of brake dust, I'll hit with an Iron remover first. Especially Toyota TRD Pro wheels. One thing I rarely see other detailers use is a detail brush for all of the nooks and crannies. I keep my Microfiber Madness mitt in one hand and the detail brush in the other.

Solution Finish and topped with ceramic is awesome. Glad you have something that works well - that’s the important thing! Brake Buster, from what I hear, is great for mild routine maintenance. Have you tried KCX Magic Wheel Cleaner? It has iron remover as part of its action and works really well. I use it on wheels with iron build up. Can’t beat a detail brush for those tight spots anywhere.

What is your favorite interior towel Bruce?
@Bruces-Garage
@Bruces-Garage 4 сағат бұрын
Honestly, I generally use a good utility/all purpose microfiber or even one of my exterior paint towels that gets downgraded for interiors. I really don’t have a favorite. Most of the time any of them work, but I try to separate my interior towels and just go with a lower cost towel for interiors.

@@Bruces-Garage I detailed a truck and I used P&S brake buster but the dressing seem like it wasn’t coming off and it felt slippery the water was just repelling 🤷‍♂️. What are your thoughts? Are tire sealants hard to remove?
@Bruces-Garage
@Bruces-Garage 4 сағат бұрын
@ What kind of dressing was on the tire? I know my solvent based dressings were super hard removing and required at least 4 separate scrubbing/rinsing with a tire cleaner. You can also use Stoners Tar & Sap remover. It’s a solvent that will remove the old dressing.

Great video. I just bought labocosmetica HPC 2.0. It will be my first time doing a coating. says 2 years give or take. so my question is, lets say 2 years passed, will the ceramic coating be gone or do we have to remove it ? Lets say I want to apply another ceramic or go back to wax after 2 or when I start seeing the benefits of the ceramic gone, can I just reapply another coating if the paint is still in good condition?
@Bruces-Garage
@Bruces-Garage 3 күн бұрын
It’s always best if you can ensure there is no coating, such as by doing a quick polish. Plus, your paint will benefit from a gloss up. The new coating needs to bond with the clear coat and any remaining coating may inhibit that from occurring. Thanks for watching.

Safe to say friction/abrasion will likely help remove; so I’d probably use a good all purpose cleaner and scrub the trim well before applying a new product. Let me know how it goes. You might try one piece of trim and see the results before doing it all.

Hi Bruce, realy enjoyed your vidieo , but i have a question , was all three products the same dilution ratio ? For instance do you you use the same amount of product in the foam canon or wash bucket which would give you a per wash cost ? I do use incredible suds and Bilt Hammer touch less and the Bilt hammer takes much more in the foam cannon than the incredible suds.
