If bro doesn't dig the p2e side of the game then it's just an old RPG game for him, obviously. Also he doesn't even like this genre.

bro play the game for at least up to level 20 then say whatever you are going to say about it. This is not a review. It's like me opening cyberpunk and say : yeah 2hours of dialogue garbage that's it bye. The game seriously has depth in it. Depth in making classes and items. For a web3 game this game is seriously is different from other web3 games. Fun part of the game for me: The fact that you can steal from other people in game, and it's skill based instead of RNG based games like axie or other card games. I have played this for 100 hours and still haven't exprienced most of the content of the game.

This is coming from someone who has played games for 20 years of his life non-stop. Crypto games standard is pretty low, but this game man... I really enjoyed my time. Ambushing people doing tradepacks , Catching someone offguard when he is fighting mobs and so much other fun parts that I exprienced got me a huge adrenaline rush.

@qFlux888Ай бұрын
Marketing is good, it's an important part of getting people to be aware of games. Idk what they should have even done differently in this case, spend the money on smaller creators over a longer period of time? idk
@CryptoGritАй бұрын
@@qFlux888 i think hiring creators that play other fps games is a good idea... but if they decide to take that route its better to do long term partnerships, and to actually do it with people that will like the game... this is honestly so common mistake inweb3 space... I heard people speaking about retention rates in web3 speaking how its higher than in regular gaming... but they are not aware of the fact it should be even higher since if people that are focused on web3 find something that they like they will stick more...

People were paid to play and talk about it. The moment I seen Shroud stream it I knew they pumped a ton of money into influencers. Nyan Heroes is a decent game with a unique mechanic imo. Parallel won't grow much until they improve the UI, it feels too dark and depressing. It's also poorly optimised.

I grew up with game collections like this, like Namco Museum or those illegal NES compilations and most games were very simple, weird, and hard; it's a mood. I have always enjoyed simple games with solid mechanics like Tetris, Galaga, Dog Hunt, Gun Smoke etc... I would play as many as possible pretty quickly and then just settle for my favorites. I do think that quickly jumping from one game to the other limites your enjoyment and understanding of each individual game. When I was old enough and I could just emulate hundreds of games instead of settling for like 20 games, I found myself not enjoying it as much because I would just jump from game to game without finishing anything, when I decided to stop and try to finish a few games, I enjoyed them and appropriated them more that way.

You just reminded me of those old days staring at a folder full of 1000s of NES and SNES games and an emulator, wondering if I should play the first hour of FF1 again for the millionth time or try something new XD Good idea btw, both u and the other dude who commented gave similar advice. The book is definitely better. The ending of the book explains the title of the story. The book is titled "I am legend". The movie should have been called "I am hero". Will Smith's character wasn't a legend, he was a hero to humanity. Where in the book, he was the terror of the vampires. The book is why I love books. They can have interesting, depressing, or thought provoking endings. Hollywood can't make big budget movies that have high caliber stars and have an ending like the book because the focus group will complain about it. Well unless you have the Coen brothers writing and directing.
@qFlux8882 ай бұрын
You're definitely right that the book and movie of I Am Legend are a good example of what can happen in books, but not really in movies. Books can be way more experimental and take bigger risks, while movies with huge budgets are very rarely able to do those kinds of things. Still I felt like the directing and cinemetography of I Am Legend's movie took a lot of risks - the sequence where Will Smith is looking for his dog in a dark building after it chases a deer into the zombie's nest is an example of a really creative sequence. to me they just excel at different things, but if I *had* to only pick one, im with you, the book wins
