The random slow-motion is actually an extremely subtle indication that the area is cleared of enemies, like in Max Payne 3, you will always get a enemy killed cam when the area is cleared. Problem is, its not obvious as there is barely any indicator. In Max Payne 3, after that happens, it usually follows up with protagonist talking or something else

Bl2 is objectively the best one of the series. The story drags 3 down and makes it unbearable to play more than once. I have only played it once and can’t bear the thought to go through the story of 3 again

here’s an idea. have a max payne/slow mo button as a rechargeable action, and damage dealt during slow mo heals the player. so they don’t spend the game hiding behind a corner

I played this quite a bit when it came out (and was way way harder) and talked to the developer. Some of my suggestions were even implemented in the updated demo (zooming, crouching, medkits).
