Meatballs are easy for me to prep and freeze. I made meatballs with pepperoni and mozzarella mixed in. I should have added a little Italian seasoning. Next time. I dipped in a little pizza sauce. Not carnivore, I know. But, I figured if I'm not eating the dough, it's still a healthier option.

costco is usually cheeper than walmart you get what you pay for i do grassfed beef higher protean than grain fed meat i looked at walmart not much there and sold out alot online on meats if you want to have best price costco is the best for eggs beef everything

hi really enjoyed your input im about to start the carnivore diet, im unsure on a few things, can i make my own pepper sauce? cream beef stock pepper corns ? also can i use shop bought gravy granules ? also can i cook fresh onions and garlic, kind regards Louis,

Hello! Sure, just make sure if you are using store bought beef stock that it doesnt have any vegetable seed oils or added sugars. Store bought gravy granules, I'd have to look at the ingredients label. A lot of those have sneaky ingredients. I dont think fresh garlic and onions are a big deal. It wouldnt technically be carnivore but they are a whole food, so yea, go ahead :)

Hello and thank you so much! As far as vitamin C, when you are not consuming carbs, you dont need to consume as much vitamin C. There is a bit of C in the meat that you consume, and then there are other sources such as beef spleen and pancreas, beef liver, and oysters that have some vitamin C. It takes years to restore intracellular magnesium levels if you are chronically depleted. Use magnesium oil sprayed on your lower legs before bed. Magnesium Bisglycinate did nothing for me. The spray, applied after my evening shower, fixed me quickly and I no longer need it

@@randpmagnuson6711 spend as much time as you can getting to Alaska. Get gas often. We enjoyed Banff, Jasper, driving the Icefields parkway, driving the Cassier highway wasn’t as bad as people say. We bought an app called Guide Along for the drive and he narrated as you drove along and made suggestions where to stop

That's a great idea! I think you would just use italian seasoning and maybe some parmesan in the meat mix and then maybe a tiny bit of Rao's marinara in the bottom of the bowl with some more parm on top? Not technically "carnivore" but pretty darn close!

Thank you Jenny. I'm starting the C diet on Monday but I've been reducing carbs over last 2 weeks so I don't have too much withdrawal. After 2 days, I'm already having more joint pains, but I have been drinking electrolytes. I do hope there's not too much more as this weekend I've got some furniture moving in and need some energy. Can't wait for Monday, as I really don't want to eat any carbs after realising that, for my body, they are inflammatory. I'm 72.

Hello! You may still have some keto flu, 2 weeks isnt that long of a time. And as far as energy levels, they may tank for the first month. That is all totally normal, but if you have some furniture moving to do, you may want to eat some fruits and veggies to get a bit of carb, they arent as inflammatory as sugar and grains and will help with your energy levels. After youre done with the moving, you can focus on going full carnivore.

Only Animal products 2. Lion diet: Beef, Salt and water. 3. Ruminant animals (4 stomachs): Cow, sheep, goat, moose, deer, elk. 4. All meat and all seafood 5. All meat, seafood, eggs, and butter. 6. All meat, seafood, eggs, and butter and dairy. ------------------------ Not the Carnivore diet: 1. Fruits or vegetables. 2. Adding these things can be a meat-based diet. --------------------------- Some people have to pay attention to all carbs moderators or abstainers. ---------------------------- What are your motivations? ---------------------------- Like the original elimination diet. --------------------------- Limit dairy like cream, milk, and cheese. -------- Keto Flu: Carb Withdrawal (2-6 weeks). Fuel switch from glucose to Ketones SE: Diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, lack of energy, anxiety, restlessness. Combat Keto Flu: Reduce carbs slowly. Get down to 100 carbs for two weeks, then 50 carbs for two weeks, then 20 carbs for two weeks. Then reduce to zero calories so you can become fat-adapted. GET Baseline measurements: weight, chest, waist, hips. Dexa Scan: Fat, lean, bone density, visceral fat. Get Baseline blood work. How many meals? This depends on each person and may be 1-2-or 3. Follow Hunger until comfortable full. Only eat until truly hunger. Intermittent Fasting. 16-hour window. Eat 1-4lbs of food per day. 70% fat to 30% protein in beginning. 130 grams of protein might be ideal. Take electrolytes in the morning. Commit to 30 days at a time. Seasonings: Okay. It is autoimmune; cut all out and reintroduce them. Artificial Sweeteners-she says they can be okay, but I'm not so sure. They are hard on your kidneys and cause brain lesions, etc. She says you should track macros. (This is optional for me and probably okay for data nerds). A cheat meal might be okay, but not a cheat day. Keep it Keto if possible. Constipation and diarrhea even out after 4-6 weeks Don't need added fiber. Don't need fruits and veggies for vitamins and minerals. LDL cholesterol may go up. I disagree with her here: The Seventh-day Adventists are not pushing fruits and Vegetables on you; scientists studied their diets and their personalities and wondered why they were so long-lived. I also disagree with the Ancel Keys's notion; he was not a bully and he lived to be 100 years old and did not have the studies we have now. He was a big proponent of the Mediterranean diet. His mistake was not recognizing sugar as a big factor in heart disease. He also came up with the k-rations to feed the military. Process food industry, I agree. Lipid energy model: Lean mass hyper responder, high LDL and cholesterol but have high HDL and low triglycerides. Triglycerides: Low HDL: High Fasting Glucose: Under 100 Fasting Insulin: Low A1c: under 5.7 No evidence that meat causes cancer or diabetes. Overall, it was a great Video!

I was keto for 15 months, now carnivore. Discipline is easy for me, food variety with a recipe lineup is a little harder. I started watching you for that, but I have to say, your pacing and whole approach is so engaging, you don't get hung up on trivial detail, you just come off as wise, friendly sharp, and well-informed. Noon 🤦🏽‍♀️ waste of time and money. I started carnivore almost 3 weeks ago at the age of 70. I like it (😢 little cheats 3 times) but I’m waiting to weigh until the end of week 3. I’m eating all meats, some fish, eggs, cheese, cream and cottage cheese. I find it hard to plan meals so everyone gets enough to eat but especially a cold lunch first my son. My granddaughter made brownies last night and she still has done. Look good but I don’t feel tempted. Makes me proud of myself.
