Congratulations ! I just hit 13 months carnivore and it has changed my life! i started at north of 715lbs i was stuck in the house for over 2 years and i was on home oxygen 24/7. i had congestive heart failure, reactive airway disease, depression, anxiety, lymphedema, and many other issues. ive lost 262lbs so far, i have my mobility back, im off oxygen, and off all meds, my depression and anxiety is completely gone. everything has healed and is either 95% to 100% healed! A literal answer to prayer ! i love hearing people changing their lives with carnivore too. Keep up the great work!

Did keto for a couple years, lost 80lbs, reverse dieted with carbs and gained it all back over the course of a year. I’ve been clawing my way through IIFYM, addicted to sugar and caffeine, just not functioning great. I finally got tired of it and said I’d finally do world carnivore month. Heavy protein for me and currently still about 3 meals a day, but boy do I feel amazing. Sleep is deeper, no brain fog, no mood swings, blood sugar is stable. Gonna keep it going! Great video, Jenny. Thanks!

The protein tip is gold. I"m going to raise my protein. I've been managing my menu for years but have been lower carb for a couple years and total low carb for a year. I have been moving to more and more carnivore and am currently around 80-90% carnivore but my protein levels need to be higher. I got so many great tips from you tonight I don't believe it! Hi there, After nearly five years of carnivory, l found that dairy was not my friend either. Most days l have two meals, a blend of grass fed beef/liver/heart slow baked in tallow, topped with pastured egg yolks and raw butter. And bone broth from pastured chicken . This year l am adding 4 oz of sardines in water because of the omega 3 content. I'm a recovering vegan and l feel my new body every day . Large and small, those that were unexpected and maybe not discussed by others. Please put in a word at LMNT that some of us would love to try their flavors however, Stevia gives us diareah! My energy cycle always goes up when the sun goes down and stays high until around 2 am. I get 7-7.5 hours of sleep every night unless something else gets in the way (just had an annoying cold that made me sleep longer). I am in my second month and I went through not really feeling well the first couple of weeks. I’m just learning and trying to figure out my way through this. I don’t eat just beef, I also have chicken, pork, some fish. I don’t think I eat enough. Maybe2 eggs in morning and a pork chop at night. I haven’t given up my 1 cup of coffee in the morning and my 1 glass of wine at night. Can’t give those up right now, because I don’t want to. I am trying to incorporate some exercise. I am 71 years old and pretty sedentary. I do feel a little better and I have lost 10 pounds this first month. I am going to try adding more beef and less chicken. Hoping my body heals and 1 year from now I have a better understanding of what works for my body.

How exactly can you not get enough protein if all you eat is meat?

Very easily it seems, I was focusing on eating high fat cuts of meat, and there were a lot of days I was not getting my minimum protein goals met because of that.

Im still trying to get my wife on a carnivore lifestyle. But looks like Im going to have to get her started off on a more keto way and gradually get her to carnivore. I use the medilax dual monitor for my Glucose and Keytones. I may switch to Freestyle since they sale the glucose monitors over here. My favorite LMNT flavors are the Mango Chili, Watermelon Salt and Orange Salt... Tried the chocolate and it just turned me off. Sadly, LMNT no longer ships over here to the Philippines and the local version of Amazon here (Lazada) charges almost twice the cost for it. Even though when I wrote LMNT they informed me that the sellers on that sight are not authorized sellers but they cannot stop them from reselling. So I am on a quest to find good electrolytes here. Right now I am doing a 48 hour water fast with one serving of beef bone broth. Tomorrow, its steak day.... lol

@@silvamaney8897 LMNT sent me the instructions to make it. But I find it hard getting the ingredients here that are of quality. I also tried Insaltd mango, which is as good as LMNT, but they do not ship here either. Luckily there is lots of meat here and I am able to get imported USDA beef by the slab.

@@LoveyourLife-1970 Thank you for responding, do you have carnivore community support in Philippines?
@LoveyourLife-19708 ай бұрын
@@silvamaney8897 Not really, there are a few over here but the majority of Filipinos in my area cannot afford to go carnivore. Beef here is as expensive as it is in the US but the average Filipino worker makes about 500 pesos a day in the provinces. Not many of my fellow immigrants here are into carnivore way of eating except for a couple that just got into it. I assume that in Malaysia they are a bit more health conscious. How is it over there?

@JennyMitich8 ай бұрын
Hello! I would recommend lowering your carb intake gradually. Drop it to 100 g, and then 50 g, and then 20 g. Then, your body will have more time to get adjusted to this way of eating. What’s you’re experiencing is a pretty extreme carbohydrate withdrawal, and if you give your body time to get used to lower carbs, you won’t have as extreme of a reaction.

Have you tried unpasteurized (and nonhomogenized) dairy? Did you have a problem with that as well?
@JennyMitich8 ай бұрын
I have not tried it
@anonymousperson64628 ай бұрын
@@JennyMitich it's possible that it could be less inflammatory for you. There's also vat pasteurized milk. With this one, they heat up the milk to 145°F for 30 minutes, then (often) don't homogenize it. Regular milk can be heated anywhere from 158 to 185 (and sometimes those who get raw milk are told to boil it) for a few minutes. The pasteurization destroys/denatures the milk such that the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and good bacteria are no longer bioavailable to you, and the homogenization pushes the cream through tiny holes to make it more "uniform". The result can be many symptoms in those who drink it.
@JennyMitich8 ай бұрын
@@anonymousperson6462 I have heard that before! I have a grass fed farm within an hour of my house, but they sell out of raw milk so quickly that it’s almost impossible to get. But if I could get my hands on some, I would definitely give it a shot.
@anonymousperson64628 ай бұрын
@@JennyMitich it is possible to get raw cheese (Le gruyere) imported from Switzerland. I haven't tried that one particular brand yet, but I did notice that Amazon and gourmet dash have it. It seems the le gruyere made here is pasteurized. For my cheese, I found natural grocers, and I hear Costco may have it. The family farm I get my milk from is about a half hour away and is known under the name "Hoegger" in Scotland, TX.
@anonymousperson64628 ай бұрын
One thing I've learned : the liquids you drink should be (at least at) room temperature. Cold water is not good. I've come across being told that 4 times. Your body has to heat that up (if cold), so the end result may make you lose some water (just a tip).
