Clicked to see the town I grew up in. Ended up seeing a car at 18:10 that I recognise from my youth some 20 years ago. Was my stepdads at the time, good to see it still going. It's quite rare now.

When you were guiding us around Wallingford Museum you showed us something that looked really interesting but I'm not quite sure what it was! I don't think I had seen anything like this before and I would love to find out what it was and what it was used for. I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me but I completely understand if you are too busy! Your channel has inspired me to be more curious and try to learn more about things I find interesting. Thank you! 😊

I really enjoyed this video and am so glad I discovered your channel! I remember visiting Wallingford with my mum and my sisters during the summer holidays when I was 11 or 12. Your video has brought back a lot of memories and I am really looking forward to seeing if I have been to any of the other places in your videos. I would love to go to Wallingford Museum as it looks really interesting and I really enjoy learning about the history of old towns and villages. Thank you so much for rekindling my memories of Wallingford!

I feel like Reading was better and more exciting a few years ago, especially when the Oracle had a Debenhams and a House of Fraser, both of which have since closed down. At least there is a John Lewis there.

A lot has changed! However, since I've lived here most of my life, you don't really notice the difference until you look at an old photo or walk down roads like Smelly Alley, which should now be called 'Phone Shop Alley.

Gosh! I know I left Reading in 2002 to live in France but I’m shattered to see how it has changed!!!!! Still the Oracle, John Lewis, Waterstones etc but so much I didn’t recognise! I thought watching your great video would be a trip down memory lane but instead it was a trip of discovery!!!!! Thank you 👍

Hope you enjoyed my wander around Guildford Cathedral! For a modern building, I actually found the space pretty impressive-who would've thought? It’s like they decided to make something new-ish without the usual soulless vibe you get from 'modern' architecture. What stood out to you? The bold design, the peaceful atmosphere, or were you just shocked by my terrible camera work? 😄 Let me know in the comments.

Ruth Mott, the remarkable cook in the BBC series "The Victorian Kitchen Garden", worked at Basildon Park in the 1970s and 1980s. I've seen pictures of her in that fabulous mid-century kitchen, which is wonderfully out of place in the midst of the Georgian house!

Thank you for watching! 😊 In this video, we’re taking a walk around the stunning Shaw House in Newbury, Berkshire, a beautiful Elizabethan manor house built in 1581! 🏰 From its role in the English Civil War, where King Charles I once stayed, to its time as a school and now a heritage site, Shaw House is packed with history. I hope you enjoy exploring this hidden gem with me. Apologies for the bad camera work, I accidently set it up wrong (bloody amateur!). 😅 However, if you liked the video, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more content like this!

Thanks for joining me on my walk around Basildon Park! It's such a beautiful place, from the house itself to the lovely gardens-I really enjoyed exploring it all. My personal favourite was the Shell Room, it’s so unique! Fun fact: if the house felt familiar, you might have seen it in Bridgerton or Downton Abbey-it’s had its fair share of screen time. How about you? Was there a room that stood out to you? Maybe the grand dining room or the cosy library? Let me know your favourite in the comments, I’d love to hear what caught your eye! 🏛

Hope you enjoyed my stroll around the Barbican Estate, one of my absolute favourite spots in London. Seriously, it's not just a concrete jungle-though I wouldn’t blame you for thinking that at first glance! The Brutalist architecture might look like something out of a dystopian sci-fi film, but there's a certain charm here that's hard to explain until you've wandered through it yourself. What caught your eye? The stark beauty of the buildings, the hidden gardens that pop up like little surprises, or maybe the realization that the Barbican is way cooler than just a relic of the 60s/70s? Let me know in the comments! 😊

Thanks for watching my stroll through Leadenhall Market and the City of London! 🎥 It was my first video with a new camera, so I appreciate you sticking around despite any rookie moves. I took a little detour around the City to check out the Lloyd's of London building and, of course, the Gherkin-because what's a walk in London without gawking at buildings that look like they're from the future? Let me know what caught your eye the most-was it the stunning architecture, the market’s historic charm, or just how much I’ve mastered this whole "walking and filming" thing? Oh England my Lionheart - how I love thee still in my golden years - land of my childhood memories flow - the Bull Inn - a regular stop after church at St Andrews with lemonade and Smiths crisps for my sister and me, with the little blue bag with salt in it. My mum would have a gin and tonic and my dad would have a shandy - over 60 years ago now - I will always yearn for my England all the days of my life - thank you for these types of videos. And Cheers from Wendy

Hope you enjoyed my ramble through Wallingford, Oxfordshire-a town that’s packed with more intrigue than a classic whodunit. Who would’ve thought this quiet little spot had so much character? From the crumbling remains of the castle to the home of the queen of mystery herself, Agatha Christie-talk about a plot twist! And let’s not forget the museum, where things got unexpectedly creepy (that face, anyone?). What caught you off guard the most? The eerie castle ruins, Agatha Christie's cozy abode, or that unnerving museum exhibit? Let me know in the comments!
