I’m 21 years old, god I wish I could be alive to grow up in the 80’s. So many good bands, so many good hits. I’m just glad I get to listen to this stuff, when they were younger, in their prime.

After recording this song, guitarist ELLIOT EASTON noticed he had subconsciously copied the riff from THE BEATLES' song "I WILL." However, co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist RIC OCASEK discovered a distinct guitar style on this track that helped define THE CARS sound. Their keyboardist, GREG HAWKES, described it as "clicky eighth notes."

He's really talking about the Irish in Ireland. But, he couldn't say anything about it. It would have ruined them. All oppression is the same, it doesn't discriminate.
