useful and simple. thank you, but please check the circuit diagram. there is a slight discrepancy betwen the diagram and what you did in the area of the transformer coils. as ussal al of these boster circuits show a led lamp but that is not a powerful current load. try a dc fan or aheater to se the stabilty dures of the mosfet. oh and any high frequency npn mosfet with a realitvely high curent stabity wil do in this circuit. wen you ad high load for along time the mosfet just puts out incredibly high heat and the stability of the whole circuit is disrupted.

It is not safe and does not protect the battery. Better use tp4056 and voltage drop regulator like AMS1117 1.2v / 1.8v / 3.3v / 5v etc.
