I'm not sure , you might not even have a controller computer, it might just be solenoid powered to motor , you might need to do some more research , if yours is where you stomp the pedal and the wheels spin full blast I'm pretty sure you do not have a controller/computer

Now you don't have regenerative breaking, just replace the solenoid for 35 dollars and do it right.

Yes true, but I just mash the brake , and it starts slowing down when I let off anyway, the solenoid will fail again , and they actually did away with them after this year

Why don’t you buy wire harness adapter it’s much easier, and you don’t have to cut factory wire just release it from the plug each pin. Kids don’t cut wire okay!
@mikehughes8
@mikehughes8 10 күн бұрын
It had a aftermarket stereo already in there, the harness I bought wasn't correct and the wires had already been cut , spliced , what ever may be, but cutting and splicing wires is apart of the process 😎

The dealer tells me my recently bought used LT150 has a "sealed" transmission and the fluid can't be changed. How were you able to do this? Did you have to separate the casing? Or is there some breather opening you could take off, drain and refill? Thanks.

It's just called a brake solenoid , it's for when every time you release the gas pedal it electrically brakes your motor for that nice safe cruise on a golf course, it's unneeded for 98 percent of people
@mikehughes8
@mikehughes8 10 күн бұрын
It's not for the brakes , it's a electronic "brake" for the "motor" so when you let off the gas it brakes for you on the golf course

Fixed a problem wirh a "no cranking at start up" by backing off the brakes a bit at a time: Had to stomp on brake pedal to engage safety switch to start...the safety switch barely made contact, so i gave the brakes an adjustment of about an half turn (1/2" socket) out....fixed At first i couldn't find any switch for brake pedal, but thought if I keep stomping to start it, eventually I'd break the primary cable that actuates the brake linkages.😊

I found a “kind of” running” 2000 Recon for $350 that was missing the snorkel, air box lid, filter, and the internal filter element and was amazingly still running, but gas was pouring out’ve the overflow when I put a new carburetor in. I took the gas tank off and cleaned it, replaced the crumbling petcock, and replaced all the missing air box pieces and it ran better but was still idling high. The snorkel I pulled off a Foreman that we use for parts was broken just like this and this video led me to that discovery and using tape to make the hole closer to factory was the final piece to getting it dialed in. I ordered a new snorkel just for peace of mind, but that was it! Thank You!

It sounds like classic belt warming and stretching once hot, all belts get pretty hot when mowing, hope you get it fixed, I would look into getting a new belt and or getting a belt 1 inch shorter than your original to get more tension on it
@franklinstahl3711
@franklinstahl3711 Жыл бұрын
When you start to talk about removing the crazy "pull the Dickens out of" tough tension spring on the right side (I know from experience--I made a little hook), it sounds like an air compressor starts up. I think I purchased a belt that was suppose to fit, and it is a little too long. Anyway, I didn't know about how to tighten the belt using the idler pulley. Thank you. Hey, "you-alls" --where ya from? I'm from Pennsylvania and needing a mower other than a John Deere. I have two that I fight with.

Gosh I can't remember I ordered the wrong one the first time but got lucky on the second speed sensor, on this model you will go faster just unplugging it so it's unregulated , it's only like a 1mph difference top speed also the pedal start felt lots stronger with the speed sensor unplugged.

Hey yeah I should have replaced the pulley since how is was smooth as glass, the splines were still good , however I did flip the pulley because the splines were tighter due to how the pulley shaft is designed, I wouldn't recommend flipping the pulley if it isn't the same surface on the bottom as the top though, if it's the same surface minus a 1/8 inch you should be good

I agree with Mac. More times than not, the splined pulley on top of the transmission that the drive belt goes around, is the issue with the transmission "slipping" in all of the LT models...definitely change it out if you've already gone through the hassle of removing the tranny.

@@coryjackson6034you are right . .oil pressure sensors don't cause low oil pressure . .when they go bad they will tell you you have low oil pressure hence you better stop and see if it's a sensor or you do in fact have low oil pressure , luckily it was a faulty oil pressure sensor 👌 and it wasn't showing a fault code , probably because it was a internal seal causing oil to get in the sensor. .however you may a sensor can still read right with the obd and be faulty causing only a red oil can low pressure for my instance 👌
