I feel that there is value in a long time customer. Especially with three vehicles. I would have offered to power wash his driveway and changed the way I applied the tire dressing. I would have also made an exception on the one car exterior wash for that one time out of good faith. Just think about the long run picture. The money you would have lost by pressure washing his driveway and showing up for one exterior detail would have been recouped on their very next appointment. Business is a marathon brother not a short race. Love this channel.

you are basing 30 an hour without taking expenses into consideration.....in this case you would have to charge 45-50 an hour to make 30 an hour. taxes, gas, wear and tear(vehicle), materials, travel time, etc etc. I hate seeing low balling detailers! raise the prices! people don't be afraid to charge more, if you were to take it to a brick n motor shop they easily charge 50 an hour just for labor. respect yourself and time.

The only thing I disagree on is the vacuum the cheaper one Ive had at my job for like 10 years and it’s good af but the smaller one is probably more responsible and easier to store

The fortress brand is 225 psi and $299 vs like almost $400 for the rigid. I run two vortex at 90 psi each off it and it does very well

I’m 71 years old and just getting into home detailing or my new F-150 Tremor. I have clay bar and applied sealant then waited and one coat of carnuba wax. I plan to do this again in 8 months. Can you tell me if I need to remove the old sealant and wax before I apply new sealant and wax? If so, what product do I use to remove the old before applying the new? I have looked at videos until I am ready to pass out and still don’t have a clear answer. Your content is the best I have found on KZbin. @@jimcoon Hi Jim, thank you for watching the channel! Yes, you’ll have to remove any remaining sealants/waxes left on the surface as part of the prepping process before going ahead and applying a new wax/sealant. To give you a safe and guaranteed product that will help you remove the preexisting wax on a vehicle, you can buy a “strip wash” shampoo such as one sold by the “Adam’s Polishes” brand. A strip wash shampoo is used just like any other soap you have ever used to wash your vehicle except this soap is just stronger and not “ph neutral” which you need in this scenario. Hope this helps!
