I was lucky. I was OLing her gear and got max ammo on 3 of the 4 pieces first try. 68% for all 3. Trying to get more elemental and attack.

Elysion gear. Whatever the original manufacturer for the overspec nikke is, that's the gear they take

Getting Lines on OL gear is literally the most trash system in the history of gaming. Not only you have 50% and 30% for 2nd and 3rd line, but they also can disappear with next reroll, not to mention that rocks gain is so damn low. SU should have change this system to fixed 3 lines and all we would do is changing the lines we want and change the % value on lines.

I used around 120 blue OL crystals and my Rapi was very kind to me, she gave me: All 4 pieces with: Elemental %, Attack%, Ammo roll on all of my pieces. 2 of them are blue line rolls, 1 on Attack% & 1 Elemental dmg. On the various pieces. Got all her skills on 10 & the doll is maxed out. Sadly im now gemless so i cant gun for MLB, but shes guuud! :)

Minmaxing is such a colossal pain... I just get happy if I land 2 META lines for a particular equipment. The massive hassle I have to put up with if I want something specific is not worth it FOR ME.

rolling is grim, i blasted 8 rocks into a single chest piece yesterday and didn't get a single desirable stat on the third line. outside of hot time progression is rough.

my head piece have 68% ammo first line, 11.8% atk second line. i should lock the atk and reroll right? currently sitting with 80% ed, 30% atk, 170% ammo. kinda insane for tbh for 9/12 but i want more ed somehow. do you think its worth the rocks?

This was actually insanely helpuful. Never realized how wasteful I'd been rolling gears because I'd always wait until I had dozens of blue rocks and just throw them all at a unit. Never thought to focus on the third line first and go from there and that saved me so many rocks maxing my Rapi

Has anyone done a deep dive into the math, maybe with a simulator, to really hammer out the best method? Intuitively, at 2:50, I think locking the final 2 slots should give you better odds per rock than just locking the 2nd slot. Ok, trying the math: I think it's ~1.7% to roll BOTH Max Ammo and Attack, should be 118.5 rocks - that number seems high, not sure I did that right. It's ~6.4% to just roll 2nd slot Attack, or about 47 rocks. If no one's ever made a simulator, let me know and I'll do it. If anyone wants me to double check my math, feel free.

What tier do you aiming at minimum when resetting for elemental sky ?

If it's just the elemental line and no other good stat, I don't reset unless it's 3rd line. If it's 3rd line, I aim for 20%+. 19%+ is good (in general, i aim each line to be on average 20%). But if it's difficult to reroll (e.g. there's like other unlocked good rolls with it like 50%+ ammo / 9%+ atk, then i might settle for 15% elemental temporarily (I will minmax reset it later)) Kinda iffy but it depends on the other lines and what's my next goals are for that piece. (e.g. do i plan to perma lock it? if so, then 19%+ is good to aim. If only temp lock or there's a chance that I will roll/reset it more later, then I don't reset)

P.S. If you have a lot of Custom Lock (500+) you could consider using them instead of perma locking (assuming you're also running out of rocks). I would still make sure you have a handful though for emergency (200+). rolling live come join us: www.twitch.tv/skyjlv/
