Only thing this boss has done is remind me that I don’t spread my investments around enough. Instead of hyper focusing on my top 10 nikkes I need to spread the love and get more OL gear on my bottom half when it comes to solo raid

It is always better to focus on maxxing the strongest units first instead of spreading your investment around, since that is your main source of damage. Sky talked about this on stream many times.

Trust me, I did that. I was way too spread-out with my investment levels for characters that I thought were good, it made it so that I haven't gotten to top 3% in an SR before XD. The skill resets and three I had saved from last time around saved me, so I was able to switch around my investments and go for some better choices. Currently sitting at 0.75% :)

No, you should focus on your strongest units first, and then go down the line. My first team is highly invested and does 80% of the total damage lol I got to 2.4 Billion and in the top 2%

Better to keep hyper-focusing. Eventually you'll have enough teams. Spreading them all out ensures you'll be a master of none. Especially w/o paying. Learned by experience. Unfortunately, with the sheer amount good units, especially those that require high investments, there will never be enough to resources to go around. Event shops, and FB weekends help; But even then, if you're not day 1&daily or a paying player, it'll still be a tall order. And by the time you max/min-max the units you need there will likely be a few more units released within that time that will also want your resources.

@@CLxJames best tip I can give you is focus on your campaign teams first. Getting far into campaign is the best way to increase your Outpost level, which in turn gives you more resources per hour, and makes opening resources boxes more worth it.

Never realized how massive of a difference watching a guide could make. Went from the top 10% to the top 1% for ranking. Always appreciate the work you do, and I'll definitely be paying a bit more attention in the future lol

I had fun with this boss. Was the first time I actually went ahead with a Rem team that did pretty well. Also used Zwei with my Grave team, so that was fun too! Really helped having Grave to use in this fight.

Hmm, this is gonna require some practice, I always seem to either end Full Burst just before the QTEs, or my electric Nikke is on reload... Thought playing on landscape might help since Kraken has been getting me used to it somewhat, but honestly the timing shut me off so early I didn't even get to see if landscape reveals portrait out of sight QTEs...

Right now my characters are below lv300 and every team I have, except for my main team dies from the rocks since I don't have enough DPS to break them. I'm starting to feel a little disheartened since I don't know how much longer im gonna have to play in order to properly engage with Solo Raid.

In the challenge mode, everyone is capped at Lvl 400... so instead of levels, unit investment is more important imo.

Still hate how the overload gear gacha works that's the thing holding me back in sr a lot, should've created some wishlist feature in it, wasting lot of rocks for stat i didn't even needed

All the different teams you can use made this one tough to team build with because it was hard to tell what was optimal. All in all fun boss though.

In the Cindy Rouge SAnis Exia Crown team, should I be bursting with Exia? Also, since Rouge needs full charged shot to proc her CDR, and Exia needs full charged shots for her buffs, we can’t use sniper spam for burst gen?

You only burst with rouge. Rouge only needs to full charge 8 times. For exia you do 1 full charge then spam until reload and repeat

@@egoist25yeah, but her team buff comes from the last bullet one. So if you didn't use her as sub dps, it's better to stack the last bullet one faster than full charge one

I think I did ok this time around (had some bad raids around mirror container.) Broke 3bil, which is I think where I capped last raid. I doubt I made it into "3rd frame tier" with the whales yet, as I'm under level 400 on my units, despite getting Cinderella more or less up in time. As a f2p, I just feel I'm lacking the roster depth the game expects, especially in the Burst I category, which is always a problem. Once you throw in something like healers or some other caveat, it becomes too much to field 15 units AND do any damage. For example, I recently built mast, but surprisingly mast can't sustain through this boss damage, even though it's on the lower side as far as raids go. Anyway, thanks for the guide, I might try again after I read it some more. I always read ur spreadsheet updates for tips.

To be fair, this solo raid roster is meant to be end game when you have 5 teams of fully invested units even the union raid of 3 teams is a heavy floor to reach they intentionally made content that would be hard to reach and would last a long time even if you had fully invested units so don't feel bad about not being able to finish stuff that's supposed to take months of effort lol

Brotherman, I've been playing since day 1 and it took me more than a year to get into the top 3% My fault tho because i couldve get there earlier looking at guides, im a dolphin since I mostly buy skins but do not try to rush into it, skill mats are scarce.

@@ItsZnaarf Same here, day 1 F2P 'bought 1 skin only and nothing else' and it took me around 1.5 years to get into the top 3% tho maybe it was possible earlier I just did not care much about my Solo Raid scores before that. Nowadays I have around 6 Teams built/invested enough for Solo Raids and some extra flex units depending on the Elemental and mechanics of the boss. So far I've done 1 full clear of Behemoth and currently I'm sitting in the top 1.4% but that was with a fair number of mistakes/experimenting so after they reset the challenge scores I will try to do a better run. 'I also kinda like to run my own team comps and not the best copy-paste versions😅'

@@NonJohns I don't feel anything, I was just saying, that's where I'm at this raid. In fact, I think you can actually safely ignore solo raid, especially since they nerfed the rewards to mere favorite item fodder instead of cube materials. But that's more my personal opinion.

Using O.shotgun team instead of the one with bunnies, because I don't have Rouge anyway, I am using bunnies with O.Scarlet and Red Hood, and not using Mary at all. So Cinderella/Crown, Grave/Ein,/Asuka/Modernia, Shotgun, Schoolgirls/BS/Alice and the one with Scarlet. What do you think, should I do a team with Mary instead? Doing 4.5B, let's see if I can make it to top 3 (global). Thanks for your videos!!

i wouldn't use both liter and rouge in the same team. Replace one or the other with a DPS or buffer

⁠@@AsherTheOne0 that would work, but remember for Challenge you need to have five decent teams. If you load all your good units on just one or two teams then your total damage will suffer Since you already have Liter, putting Rouge in is redundant when it comes to CDR. Summer Anis is great. Following a typical one B1, one B2 and three B3 is usually a good call

Doing pierce/aoe on the guns is essentially extra dmg cuz you're hitting the parts+body. It won't actually give bonus damage for the actual destruction (unless it's super small amount i don't notice)

@@NonJohns yes, it's like you are hitting the boss twice with one bullet. It's the reason why pierce and sometimes rocket launchers are so good in this game.

Expect there to be no changes to the core mechanics of the boss. They're only fixing the bugs. Sky's video is still helpful for beginners or casuals to navigate the boss phases and make proper teams.

@@fyuukra Lets be real. As long as you not have 5 teams or even 3 like me. You can't attack anyway. So not very much a topic for beginners/casuals. Speaking for myself I have the full Meta of options except for black Scarlet and Dorothea. BUT! I not have the skill books and also not all OL to make them playable. So I can barely build 2 teams dps wise. And this boss can kill your team if they not have enough dps to destroy rocks.
