When are you going to try again to get the '70 Dodge Dart drug out of the property so that you can get the engine unstuck and running?
@LambvinskisGarage4 күн бұрын
As much as I'd like to, probably never, the property has been logged and it will probably just get crushed. Unfortunately.

Put a predator 420 on it. With a torque converter. Delete the governor and add a billet flywheel. Probably still have money left over for new tires. Or at least replace the tires with newer used tires.

You can rebuild the Two stroke later. With more time and budget. Without a deadline or such high stakes.

I turn the choke off as soon as mine fire up. This was a little frustrating watching you guys leave the choke on for so long, but iI've seen done in a few videos dealing with Amal chokes (and once after a bikes and breakfast event when I was trying to get home in the rain, I left my choke half on on the whole ride, so I can't make too much fun of you guys.) A lot of people take the chokes out of the carbs because they're not really needed and sometimes they'll slowly come on when you'e riding and all of the sudden the bike is running like crap and you don't know why.
@LambvinskisGarage24 күн бұрын
Believe me! I was frustrated too, the choke just seems backwards so we thought it was off 🤦♂️ oh well, at least we did figure it out! Haha.

Hey buddy, is there any difference in a D100, 200, 300, 400, 500 cab. I know the finders and grills change but if Im looking to put a D500 cab on a new frame will any D100 and 200 fender and bed match up and bolt up to the cab. I would also remove the side steps so will there be any changes on the floor pan or running boards. Appreciate the help.
@LambvinskisGarage27 күн бұрын
Yes! The floor is different, 300+ should have a more flat floor, where the 100 and 200s have a hump. But I believe, other than that, they're the same. 69-71 has something different with the steering column.
@gritcuttingsolutionswaterjet26 күн бұрын
@@LambvinskisGarage I appreciate the feedback, so there should be no problem mounting 100 and 200 bed and finders to the 500 cab? And where specifically is this hump in the floor? Again thanks for the help.

My dad bought a '37 Pontiac after he got out of the Army in 1944 and, because new cars were not available during and shortly after the War, he ran that car all the while courting my mother and, later, taking me home from the hospital in 1948. He traded her in for a brand spanking new, straight-off-the-showroom floor, 1949 Studebaker Commander Starlight Five-Window coupe, which was one of the nicest cars coming into product for that year.
