the black stump takes years to grow I I think 2 - inch a year so the big specimens are stolen as they are ancient and valuable Sadly a lot die in the transplanting of these poached /stolen plants .

@@dinkohrvat344 Yes, they take forever to grow and it enrages me to think someone would cut them down - but there seems to be some level of protection. Hey Daiana, thanks for letting me know. I do have a much loved lemon myrtle at home and have cooked with pepperberries. I was planning to record part 2 but, as @ryanwas commented, the number of followers and likes I got with part 1 were a bit disappointing... Glad you enjoyed it.

@@jeanhill3387 I moved to Australia 5 years ago and understanding its plants, helped me to understand and connect to the land at a much deeper level. Walking around and recognising plants and knowing the secrets they hide, is almost like meeting old friends again. I am happy you enjoyed the film. @@daina12000 the issue with low views/following is that you start wondering if anyone is actually liking your work. It takes many hours and research to create a video like that, so you start focusing on other activities... Glad you enjoyed it. Perhaps I will start editing new films after all. :))

I've always loved Terri's mosaics and this video has captured both the work and Terri beautifully! However we I can say her art was always finding expression, from her first high school post, through her travels and foreign aid work and now her mosaics in Melbourne.

When we ventured into creating this episode I had no idea it would allow me to meet so many members of my community, humans and dogs. I was also surprised to visit the library a few weeks after inauguration and find it loaded with new books, magazines and dog toys. What a joy to know we have done a good deed to our community and helped to spread the love. I would love to know if you enjoyed this episode and why. :)
