Australian native plants and flowers are unique. Thousands of years of isolation from the rest of the world, helped to shape them into exotic shapes and colours. Where else would you be able to reach out and eat a pig face flower or lick the sweet nectar of a grevillea?
Whenever I bring groups from abroad, I love to introduce them to the local fauna and flora. it helps them to better understand the country and explore new flavours and scents. It also produces some of the best travel photos.
When shooting a video, I also capture beautiful photos of landscapes, people and food. These photos, along with more stories, are posted on MY WEBSITE:

You can also follow me on Instagram, where I post additional photos and short videos whenever I come across something interesting. My IG:

Hi . Just saw your video reviewed by Ryan Was. Very nice. I think you might need a part 2 with plants like Lemon Myrtle and pepperberry.

Hey Daiana, thanks for letting me know. I do have a much loved lemon myrtle at home and have cooked with pepperberries. I was planning to record part 2 but, as @ryanwas commented, the number of followers and likes I got with part 1 were a bit disappointing... Glad you enjoyed it.

@@SO50fun I was surprised that you got so few views too - there are a lot of plant/garden videos on youtube, and yours was well done and looks professionally edited. ... I hope you get some more followers. - and yes - I agree with jeanhill3387 - It is a lovely and peaceful video.

@@jeanhill3387 I moved to Australia 5 years ago and understanding its plants, helped me to understand and connect to the land at a much deeper level. Walking around and recognising plants and knowing the secrets they hide, is almost like meeting old friends again. I am happy you enjoyed the film. Other films i really like are Flying Like a Bird and Mosaic of Life. Have a look, both on my channel. Enjoy!

@@daina12000 the issue with low views/following is that you start wondering if anyone is actually liking your work. It takes many hours and research to create a video like that, so you start focusing on other activities... Glad you enjoyed it. Perhaps I will start editing new films after all. :))
