It's £10 less than Sky City and looks like they tried a little. I have no idea where the 5 stars come from but if it is from online reviews its a testament to the kind of places this hotel is competing against. Also the spill on the mattress side looks like a spilled cup of tea.

You gave the service here a 10/10. That means they were perfect. The staff at this place was literately flawless. If you asked them for anything including towels or fix a broken light they would have. You were not dealing with slum lord sociopath but literately a saint walking on earth version of hotel industry guest services! The person who brought you to this very room is closer to Mother Teresa or Nelson Mandela than some lazy, greedy, filthy, thieving, despicable, drug addled nonse. If I had a tight budget and a child with special needs or was running a charity for abused family's I can bring them to this place with the certainty that the service here will be impeccable. lol

Doesn't surprise me with this place, seen it on a couple of other channels I follow. Absolute S**t tip needs shutting down and shouldn't be allowed to run a bath never mind hotel or business. Not the best of location either.

Just a couple of hotels up there’s a place called The Lancaster Apartments - it’s the green building, you should review that, we stayed last year and left after one night, it was disgusting, the doors to the rooms looked like they’d been kicked in and had a bodge repair, the list of the awful things is endless, all the really bad reviews and photos that we and others had done were taken down, and the owner is a piece of work too

Damn such a shame, stayed in that hotel in the 90s and was such a clean hotel. Great staff and food was brilliant. Such a shame to see it like that now.

iwouldnt stay here again you could hear every noise from people coming in and out at all times of the day and night -no room to swing a cat -avoid

Hi Curt, good video, We love how they have retained some of the original features of the building, the mattress in your room looked nasty. We stayed in 308 and found we could hear every bit of noise from the corridors.

Hi curt the hotel looks great apart from the small rooms as you've mentioned in your video. Pity about the mattress least they've could of changed or inspected the room it or given you another room. Hope you has a great time in Manchester

Hope you had a great time in Manchester. Pity about the mattress, I don't know why they dont clean them immediately they notice a stain and then they wouldn't get so bad. I suppose its down to time restrictions and numbers of bookings, but it should be a priority. Xxx
